Why is the Army privatizing lodging?
Years ago, the U.S. Army realized there was insufficient funding to adequately renovate and revitalize its on-post accommodations. Working through the PAL program, the Army was able to transfer hotel operations and management responsibilities to the private sector, thus allowing them to focus on their primary mission and provide the quality accommodations that military personnel and their families deserve.
What are IHG Army Hotels?
IHG Army Hotels are on-post hotels that offer the same comforts, amenities and services as off-post hotels, but they’re located inside the gates of Army posts across the U.S. We are uniquely qualified to understand the needs of military guests and their families, and feel honored to serve those who are proud to serve.
Who can stay at IHG Army Hotels?
Anyone who can gain access to a U.S. Army post can stay at an IHG Army Hotels location. While we mainly cater to military personnel and their families, we also regularly serve official guests of the U.S. Army as well as civilians.
