This is late as I've been travelling since my stay but the staff at this Holiday Inn really saved me. The hotel was very nice. However, I had an early flight and left very early in the morning. After
a good breakfast, I left, flew away and didn't realize until late that night (New Year's Eve) that I'd left my insulin (3 weeks worth for a long trip) in the room refrigerator.
Honestly, I expected it was gone but I called the hotel anyway. It turns out they had it in an office fridge and were awaiting my call. It was a holiday so it took a couple of days but the manager took my credit card and shipped it overnight to my wife. I was able to pick it up on a pass back by the house.
The manager was very nice even though I'd really put her and her employees out a bit. First, the housecleaner rescued the boxes when she cleaned the room, the office staff on duty took them and took care of them and then the manager took possession and made sure I got them.
As I say, the hotel was very nice but it was really refreshing to find that the staff had my back. Hats off to them and thanks very much. I'm relaying this message to their bosses and I really hope they're rewarded somehow. [Less]
