I was there on business and had utilized this property during non balloon festival trips and really liked this property. Something told me to call and check on my special needs room reservation the morning of my arrival. A very kind woman answered the phone, lestened to my question, politely explained my original request had been changed to a regular room. The property was sold out. She asked for my cell # and said she would make a few calls, see what she could do, and call me back. Much to my surprise she called back within 30 minutes and told me everything was fixed for me! The lady turned out to be the GM of the property. I arrived late and all was well with the world. My stay was perfect, my needs were taken care of. She made me more committed to this brand than ever before!! Thank You So Much. I will look forward to future stays with this property. November 4, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for me. I will not be coming back... I had to stay here for work unfortunately it was the same week as the hot air balloon festival. My first negative was that after returning back to the hotel after work, I noticed that my trash was not emptied out and there were dirty towels in the bathroom. I called down to the front desk and I was told house cleaning / room service is only once a week??? I was very surprised. The staff at the hotel forgets that some of us are road warriors and constantly travel. Week after week, I have to stay in various hotels. After work I don't get the pleasure of coming home and being able to sleep in my own bed. So for approximately a week it's where I have return to after working all day. A place for me to relax, unwind and consider my home for the rest of the week. The last thing that I want to do is come home to an over flowing trash can and dirty towels in the bathroom. After calling no one even offered to come to my room and dump the trash or ask if I wanted fresh towels. I got the impression that they didn't really care. Also I don't think it's too much to ask to provide coffee downstairs for the guests. Especially if they are Platinum status. It is not very often that coffee is not available in the main lobby when I travel. I don't want to be bothered with making coffee myself in a room that I am paying for and they only give you 2 cups even though I am there for 5 days. Besides it's not very good with powered cream and not enough sugars. Finally one evening I went downstairs and there was no one at the front counter but there was a sign that read, they were busy tending to other guests in the hotel and would return in a few minutes but if it was an emergency to pick up the phone and someone could help me. It wasn't an emergency and all I needed was an envelope. So I waited for several minutes and finally thought this is ridiculous so I picked up the phone and was told someone would be right there. Come to find out who ever was working was in the back eating something. I don't have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is don't say on the sign IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY??!! It should say I am taking a short break (not helping other guests) please pick up the phone and someone will be able to help you. I am back in Albuquerque for work again this week but I will not be staying here. I am staying at Jamtin In & Sweets and very pleased with everything. November 4, 2014

The full kitchen, recliner and apartment type set up work very well for a multi-day stay. The amenities for laundry and the Candlewood Cupboard are appreciated on long trips. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows. The ability to open a window and get fresh air is also welcome. The staff was very helpful and well informed about the area. A small annoyance is the loud fridge which comes on very often. November 3, 2014

Not having someone come in our room every day was easy for us; making our own bed and washing the few dishes we used for breakfast was a cinch. We would recommend Candlewood Suites in Albuquerque and would stay there again for a 5-day visit. November 2, 2014

It was easy to check in and the help was very friendly. We were traveling with pets and being on the ground floor and near a door made transporting their crates into and out of the hotel easy. I actually had to return back through Albuquerque, and ended up staying here again. It was nice to be able to use the laundry facilities to "reset" in the middle of a 2-week business trip, and it's a VERY convenient location, as far as being close to the interstate, lots of good food, and basically anything I needed to access.
