Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Why be charged twice! We called and reserved our room with a credit card, when we got there we paid cash. They charged our card and took our cash. I asked the clerk about it the next morning and he said we would have it back on our card before we left, needless to say it was not there. I called the manager this morning and now it is on hold for 5-7 days. My bank has said the card was charged and they have the money. SO WE HAVE PAID FOR A ROOM TWICE AND ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT. If you stay here keep an eye on your credit card. The used bandaid on our floor was nasty! February 19, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by will not be returning to this motel The night we stayed, a dog began barking next door to us. After half an hour, I called the front desk to tell them about it. They said they would look into it. Nothing happened. The dog continued to bark for several hours. I suppose someone had left it in their room while they went out. Very inconsiderate for the dog and other guests and management didn't seem to mind either. January 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great room at a great price! We made the reservations online and got a good room rate. The quality and cleanliness of the room were awesome, especially for the amount we paid. Great little kitchenette with two burners, full sized fridge, and microwave. Gas grills outside with a picnic area. We were only in town for the night so we didn't get to use the kitchen but we will be sure to next time! Bed was really comfortable and we almost overslept because the blackout curtains worked so well! December 11, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and lots of room To save driving back and forth for Thanksgiving, my husband and I stayed in a suite. This suite has a full kithcen, separate sleeping area, and living area. I prepared my meal for Thanksgivng and brought it with us. The kitchen was perfect for just our small family ( the three of us), and we were all able to eat together at the table. It was a very peaceful time, and it was like a mini vacation for my husband and I. The rooms were clean, the staft very friendly and helpful. Escpecially when I couldn't get the DVD player to work! Nothing wrong with it - it was the person tryilng to operate it. Special thanks to Amy at the front desk for your help. December 2, 2013

The hallway outside the room needed vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom area floors were dirty in need of a scrubbing, bedroom floor needed vacuuming, dirty hand prints on the walls around the light switches and elsewhere. To top it off the was a pair of boot prints on the ceiling, the bathroom vent fan was blocked with toilet paper, the bathroom tap wasn't fastened down and the tissue had been pulled out of the box into somekind of flower - but who wants to use tissue someone else has touched? Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our first stay at a Candlewood When we finally want to stop on our travels it is comforting to meet a kind and caring front desk person because we are usually wound up from a long day on the road. The front desk clerk at this facility went beyond our expectations. Our room was exceptionally clean and worked well for us because we had food left over from lunch that we could reheat and saved us from going out again after 6 hours on the road. I picked up a few items from the Candlewood cupboard to complete our evening meal. The selection available from the cupboard was good. Candlewood is an excellent value! Thank you! We will stay there again when we make this same trip next year. October 26, 2013
