the bed in the room was suppose to be queen but felt like queen bed seemed more like a full size bed

Stayed here while traveling through. Did not have a reservation. Staff was awesome, and got a room right a way. No issues. Very clean.

I ordered a King Suite, however I received a room with Double Queen beds. The furniture was damaged, there was paint on the recliner. The toaster in the kitchen did not work. This hotel is fairly new however room was damaged. The bathroom was not spotless upon arrival.

Cheap, clean rooms but once again the internet at an IHG hotel was very sub par.

Not likely to repeat the Candlewood experience. The room was not clean, the amenities were not what I had come to expect from other IHG properties - had to pay for hand lotion and other amenities?

This was more than I expected from a hotel room. Comfortable beds is just the beginning, then you have in room DVD players with loaner movies at the desk, and there's the kitchen. Fully equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, all the comfort of home while you're on the road. The staff was excellent, they were very helpful.

In summary, I thought the entire room and building were poorly constructed and cheaply made. On the surface things looked fine (e.g., a/c), but when you tried to operate things, they didn't work well (e.g., a/c very noisy and did not maintain temperature). Also, forcing guests to eat breakfast out and/or buy from the "company store" is inappropriate. This creates a real hassle for my business colleagues and me.
