Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Could have been great... This is the third Candlewood Suites location that I stayed on my vacation and it was definitely the worst out of the three. The room constantly smelled of mildew due to the A/C unit which was also a lot louder than others I have encountered in the other two Candlewood locations that I had stayed in. The shower in the bathroom was very dirty when I arrived which made me cringe. The night staff that starts at 6pm or so on my first night was non-existent except for a sign that told residents to call 0 on there room phone. However upon calling "0" someone did answer my questions, but let me know that they were currently not on site. The days staff was fine with the exception of not being acknowledged as a IHG reward member upon arrival and having to ask if the they had seen my card on the reservation. The room was up to standard of the other renovated Candlewood Suites that I have stayed at, but seemed shoddy put together such as the bathroom sink faucet moving when being used. May 31, 2014

The location was just right for us--easy access to the stadiums. The members of the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent value. April 14, 2014

We brought our old dog (golden retriever) along and the hotel was great about having a pet. it did cost an extra $15.00 per night, but it was well worth it to us. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The kitchenette was well set up and had most of what you would need for a few days stay (like any other kitchenette at a hotel). The desk clerk as a very nice young lady with a bubbly personality and very efficient. We had a very nice stay at the Candlewood Suites in Arlington. February 13, 2014

I liked the idea of being able to cook in my room, even though one of my ranges on the stove did not work. We still made due with everything. Thank you again for an awesome experience. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sleep Quality I did not find the bed to be very comfortable. The mattress was too hard for me and my hips were very uncomfortable so I tossed and turned through the nite. I did get 2 comforters from the front desk to fold and place on my side of the bed and that helped. This would be the only thing "wrong" with this stay. Otherwise, my husband slept well and we had a fabulous stay. We felt safe and comfortable in our room and the kitchenette was a great blessing!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wish the football game went as good as the hotel stay We came into Arlington for a football game at Jerry World. The game was a disaster, but our stay was fantastic. The room was perfect, the thermostat and ac/heat worked fine, and the staff was very helpful in recommending good restaurants in the area, etc. I'm a fairly hard grader when it comes to hotels and I really thought this bunch did a fantastic job. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average for price. IHG Lower end extended stay is average for the price. No room service unless there for a week. Stayed 5 days. Room was comfortable and large. Staff was friendly. Hotel should offer at least continental breakfast to match competitors. Smoking hotel rooms available if incline. Will not stay again for same reason. November 20, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by EXCELLENT STAY We stayed at the Candlewood Suites in Arlington, TX,Aug. 27 to 30, 2013. The front desk let my husband check in early without requesting an early checkin. The rooom was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied with extra trash bags and paper towels. The ladies at the front desk were always friendl and checked to see if everything was okay. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The room was not cleaned during the day I stayed in the hotel for two nights and the room seemed to be clean however, the second night we arrived late and the room was not been cleaned i meant, the bed was not made, trash cans were not empty, etc. It was very disappointing for me as clean is the most important for me in any hotel. I definitively would not stay again here. August 20, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Best Hotel ever! We stay at this hotel every year we come to Arlington. This place has the most awesome staff I have ever encountered. It is like staying with extended family. When I was coming back for a weekend meeting I was upset at first because this hotel was full, and I was going to have to stay at another local hotel. The week before I was to come to Arlington, a room opened up. I called Pat at the front desk to confirm there was a room, and she helped me book it. Was so happy to stay here. August 17, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE SERVICE I have stayed at this location for a month. The first week was excellent. It seems like after I became a regular things went down hill. One of the rooms I was in stunk. Smelt like the floor had been flooded from the night before which it did rain. I told the manager, he did not call or did they bother to change my room. I had to check out and then check back in to get another room. Now I am still here and for the last 2 days the people upstairs have been partying, kids moving constantly. I placed a call to the front desk and she stated she would make a call but the noise is still going on. I will NOT book reservation for the next week. SMH!!!!! June 18, 2013

We were visiting family in Arlington and need something bigger than a standard hotel room, the one bedroomed suite at Candlewood proved to be an excellent choice. Large and well equipped. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and we had a very happy visit. The DVD library was useful when our grand daughter spent the night. A plus point for us was a "BBQ Pit" eating place a short walk from the premises. February 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by home from home Really appreciated all the little things that made us feel so welcome - salt & pepper, disposable cups with lids in the kitchen, extra toilet paper & towels in the bathroom, shelves to pop down a coffee cup or whatever throughout the hotel when you needed to open a door or press a button - I could go on and on. Extremely convenient location, friendly staff. One tiny niggle - need to provide little ladders for the room cleaners - I'm tall & could just see the dust on the very high shelving unit in the bathroom (but what a luxury too to have shelving for all one's toiletries) (and I've still given a 5 for cleanliness as the rest of the suite was spotless). Highly recommend November 3, 2012
