Night time staff was very friendly and helpful, but day time staff couldn't care less. When I made the reservation I was told there would be a couch with a pullout because I had 4 people staying in room. When we got the room, there was only a queen size bed. Clerk contacted her manager regarding this situation and was told that we had to take it or leave it more or less. I had to purchase an air mattress to accommodate the other 2 people. The parking lot late in the evening and early in the morning was only 1/2 full so apparently there were rooms available. Had to body slam the door several times to get in and this was a handicap room. bathroom sink was falling off wall, bathroom electrical outlet didn't work and the GFI reset switch was jammed in, bed was so high that it was impossible to transfer from a wheelchair to bed, the room was directly in front of the main entrance so noise late in the evening was a great factor. When told of these things in the morning the daytime staff couldn't give a darn and didn't even apologize. Other than that the room was very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. Would I stay there again...NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff treat us like family! Excellent service in every way. So many things like the store, the locker, laundry,gym are absolutely brilliant! Could not say enough good things about Candlewood Hoover!

I often stay at Candlewood. It is the best thing to home away from home. The staff is always friendly and the locations are very much like home.
