Love Candlewood due to location and pet policy! I recommend to anyone that has pets. Only thing....I wish the towels were softer. I'll be back many times. Thanks Candlewood!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GCAW Nice spacious, clean place to stay
I have stayed here twice in the past 6 months and find it a good value for the rate. Very clean, nice staff. The pillows are awful and more outodoor lighting is needed in the parking areas but overall a nice place to stay. New Dunn Brothers coffee a block away makes it a plus!

Too much $ for what one gets. Room was good and roomy but the price was highest price paid on a 20 day trip

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jasper83 Man Camp Disguised as a Hotel
My wife & son recently stayed at the Candlewood Suites Bismarck and were extremely disappointed in our stay. The room was nice & clean; however the carpet was very frayed and ripped in spots. The problem was that there was NO maid service or continental breakfast & the reason being according to management was that they set up as a "long term" hotel and that is why the rooms have the fully stocked kitchen, minus any food of course. So to get fresh linen you have to go to the front desk & request it, maid service is offered once a week and you have to take out your own trash. They do have a variety of food items, cereals, beverages and microwavable items for sale that you can prepare in your room but nothing but coffee provided. Maid service & continental breakfast has & is common & expected part of a hotel stay, without either you would expect a discounted rate but that wasn't the case. I had friends that stayed down the road at a different hotel chain, paid the same rate as we did and received all the amenities that most hotels offer. As far as the excuse as being a long term type of hotel I have stayed at others set up the same way and they not only had full maid service & continental breakfast but also supper 4 nights a week all included. If the Candlewood Suites want to be a "long term" hotel and not offer those amenities then they should be up front & tell guests that before they make reservations but to me they were nothing more than a man camp disguised as a hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wingingitagain Great place to stay
This was my first experience of staying in a Candlewood Suites hotel and, I must say, I was quite impressed with the accommodations. I used my IHG Rewards Club points to book the room.
My wife and I were recognized as Platinum IHGRC members and offered free refreshments from "the cupboard" upon check-in. The staff was very friendly. The room was huge and furnished quite well. It was clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. I could see why a business person or someone with an extended stay would want to stay here. Our room overlooked the patio in back where we observed folks cooking out on the furnished grills, another nice feature.
There is a restaurant within walking distance where we had a very pleasant dining experience.
I would not hesitate to stay at this Candlewood Suites in the future and highly recommend it to others.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kworkman Always a great experience
I have stayed at this particular Candlewood Suites several times and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, it's in a convenient location, and it is easy for me to set up my mobile office. I especially appreciate the DVD player in the room as well as being able to remove the hangers from the closet to hang up clothes! Little things do matter!
Thanks so much everyone...
