Clean and quiet hotel. I stayed here while on business and would return again. Great staff.

I have stayed at this Candlewood twice in the last month and both visits were outstanding. Very attentive staff and nice rooms make a home away from home. Also like being able to watch DVDs from the hotel selection.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ZachT Great Management the values my business
The staff here is phenomenal. They always go out of their way to accomodate me and to try to help improve my experience. The upgrade to the one bedroom suite gave me the needed space to set up my office on the road and to even run several meetings from my room. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. I have stayed in a few hotels around town just to see what is out there and I will never do that again as the Candlewood offered so many conveniences over competitors that I see no reason to ever stay anywhere else.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bpsk Spacious room with nice homey feel
This is our second time of staying at Candlewood and love it. Although the cost was more this time it was worth it to have the spacious room and comfort. We loved having the bedroom separate from the rest of the room. Felt like being at home. Thanks for the great service.

Love Candlewood due to location and pet policy! I recommend to anyone that has pets. Only thing....I wish the towels were softer. I'll be back many times. Thanks Candlewood!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GCAW Nice spacious, clean place to stay
I have stayed here twice in the past 6 months and find it a good value for the rate. Very clean, nice staff. The pillows are awful and more outodoor lighting is needed in the parking areas but overall a nice place to stay. New Dunn Brothers coffee a block away makes it a plus!

Too much $ for what one gets. Room was good and roomy but the price was highest price paid on a 20 day trip

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jasper83 Man Camp Disguised as a Hotel
My wife & son recently stayed at the Candlewood Suites Bismarck and were extremely disappointed in our stay. The room was nice & clean; however the carpet was very frayed and ripped in spots. The problem was that there was NO maid service or continental breakfast & the reason being according to management was that they set up as a "long term" hotel and that is why the rooms have the fully stocked kitchen, minus any food of course. So to get fresh linen you have to go to the front desk & request it, maid service is offered once a week and you have to take out your own trash. They do have a variety of food items, cereals, beverages and microwavable items for sale that you can prepare in your room but nothing but coffee provided. Maid service & continental breakfast has & is common & expected part of a hotel stay, without either you would expect a discounted rate but that wasn't the case. I had friends that stayed down the road at a different hotel chain, paid the same rate as we did and received all the amenities that most hotels offer. As far as the excuse as being a long term type of hotel I have stayed at others set up the same way and they not only had full maid service & continental breakfast but also supper 4 nights a week all included. If the Candlewood Suites want to be a "long term" hotel and not offer those amenities then they should be up front & tell guests that before they make reservations but to me they were nothing more than a man camp disguised as a hotel.
