Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room Not Handicapped Accessible We were given a room that was so called handicapped accessible. It had a grab bar outside the tub. There was not walk in/roll in shower. the bathroom sink was not accessible when seated. there were no grab bars outside of one on the "outside of the tub." July 21, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business stay at fort Dix Hotel was clean and comfy. Fast wireless internet. I liked being able to see the TV from the tub. Room good for 1 person, 2 people might be a bit small. One problem I had was the heavy curtains are for show only and do not cover the window, so sleeping through a thunderstorm was a bit hard. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The People Made It Great The hotel was like other Candlewood Suites I've stayed in. Comfortable room, the place was clean. I love the little perks like cookies at the front desk and a bag of microwave popcorn in the room. What really made my stay were the two people. Two gentleman staffing the front desk daytime and overnight were unbelievably cordial and responsive. From suggestions on where to get dinner or just to a friendly hello and goodbye, they couldn't have been nicer. To top it off, I accidentally left my pillow there when I checked out. A quick phone call to the front desk and it was returned by UPS immediately...as if this kind of thing happens everyday, they were ready to go as soon as I called to inquire. First class place. The room was immaculate, there was a full kitchen with utensils, dish soap, free laundry facility and even popcorn waiting to be popped in the microwave. I will stay here again. July 9, 2014

My sister-in-law was upset that she was in another hotel and was paying more and had less space! I liked having the ability to prepare meals instead of always eating out. Did not use the grills, since they did not seem clean. It's a shame that people cannot follow the directions about keeping that area neat. Overall I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay Everything about staying here was great with a few exceptions. The check in was professional and friendly. The staff at the front desk was always willing to answer questions with a smile. The room itself was clean, comfortable, had plenty of power outlets, dishes, utensils, etc. The bathroom was roomy (as was the room) and was clean when I arrived. The cookies in the lobby were always warm and available. I made use of the exercise equipment, which was in great shape and usable. I only had a few negatives remarks (all of which are minor): there was no recognition of my IHG Rewards Club status or membership, there was no welcome gift (which I've grown to appreciate if only for the bottle of water), and I found the hallways to be extremely warm (uncomfortable so). None of these impacted my overall stay though. I enjoyed staying here and will do so again in a few weeks. June 27, 2014

The GM (Jamie-Lynn I think her name was) was wonderful, and anticipated all my needs, even when I didn't know what they were. We have been without furniture since Nov 15th, and the Air Force base had no space for us, but referred us to your hotel. At first we could only stay for 5 nights (about 7 short of what we needed), but the staff understood our situation, and worked to get us the full 12 nights. It was such a relief to have a transitional "home" where we could cook, do laundry, sleep peaceably, and live before we moved into our permanent house. From the considerate, unfailingly polite, and exceedingly helpful staff to the comfy bed, I have never enjoyed a hotel stay more! Needing both a dentist and a vet during a previous stay, the staff found me a local dentist whom I love and an animal hospital to take care of my cat. This went above and beyond the customer service that you will find at most hotels and was invaluable to me during my stay. As a former Supervisor I can state with 100% confidence that I have never found more helpful employees ANYWHERE! November 7, 2013

Instead we received a smoking room which had an overpowering smell of smoke. When checking in, I had overheard the woman on the phone telling a potential customer that the hotel was booked so, we stayed in the smoking room for the night. October 16, 2013
