My 12 year old daughter and I were in town for a swim meet. The hotel is in a nice area, so we felt safe. The accommodations were adequate. I was told not to expect housekeeping during our 3 night stay.
Two weeks after our trip to Nashville, I began searching for a shirt that I wore that weekend. Long story short, we are missing 4 shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, a swimsuit and a bathrobe. The one thing these items have in common? We wore them the weekend we were in Nashville and they did not return home with us.
I always put our dirty clothes in a bag separate from our suitcases each night so I can minimize the likelihood of stray clothing behind doors or under furniture. Prior to checkout, I searched our room thoroughly to ensure we had left no personal belongings behind. Of course, I have no proof that someone took them, but clothes don't just walk out of a locked hotel room. I AM STRONGLY SUSPICIOUS OF THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL WHO HAD ACCESS TO MY LOCKED HOTEL ROOM!!!
The great rate that I received doesn't seem all that "great" when I factor in the costs associated with replacing our personal property. I will not be staying here again.

We have stayed at this location twice in the past 6 months and will most likely return each time we visit the area. It's rare to find a good hotel at a reasonable rate that is pet friendly. The staff is consistent in their professionalism and friendliness. Check-in and check-out is always a breeze and pleasant. The suites are large and comfortable. We love the full size refrigerator in the kitchen and enjoy the living area.

I was greeted by a smokey smell in the hotel lobby which was not a good first impression. The person who checked me in was checking someone else in when I got there so there was a little wait which was ok but when he checked me in he skipped a lot of the info because he said "i guess you heard what i just said to the people who just checked in". Actually no because I wasn't listening to what he was saying to them.. After check in I went directly to the room and again when I opened the door, It reeked of smoke. I thought this was strange since I just initialed the check-in paperwork stating that this was a smoke free hotel. Thankfully I travel with spray disinfectant and Febreeze which I sprayed furiously throughout the room. The room was nice but some items could be refreshed like the leather-like recliner which had the fake leather flaking off the seat cushion. I wiped recliner off with a cleaning wipe and it was rather dirty because the wipe was filthy when I was done.
I went into the bathroom and it too was nicely decorated but it too had that in need of a deep cleaning feel that the room had also. There was water damage on the wall next to the tub which needed repairing. The bathroom amenities were pretty sparse there was 1 bar of mini soap and the shampoo bottle looked used, hair conditioner & lotion was missing.
I figured I could deal since this was an overnight stop on my way to my final destination. After spraying air cleaner and wiping everything down with cleaning wipes, I felt a little better.
The bed was nice and we had a decent night's rest and the room smelled much better after my spraying like crazy the night before. This room was booked using my rewards points so I think I would've been more upset and complained at check out if I was paying cash for the room.
I was disappointed in the room's smell and cleanliness which has caused me to think twice about booking another Candlewood Suites room for my travel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. We would recommend this location to anyone staying in the Nashville area who doesn't want or need to stay downtown or near the Grand Ole Oprey. Easy freeway access with restaurants and grocery store close by.

The suites are beautiful, considerably spacious and accommodating. The staff is very professional and courteous with a smile.
My only suggestion is that when you book the reservation online, make sure that the suite that you reserve has the number of beds for the number of people that will be traveling/lodging with you. The sleeper sofa is NOT comfortable and that was my oversight.
Overall, the property is in a great location and just right when you are going to be traveling more that two or three days and will require access to laundry facilities, a place you can return to after a long day out sight seeing and you need a fridge, microwave, etc.

Last week I was with my wife in Nashville Tennessee. We drove through the states on my motorcycle to visit my sister. During my trip to Nashville I stayed at the candle wood suites in Brentwood. The rooms were extremely clean and the hotel staff was very helpful with anything that was asked of them. I would recommend this location to anyone who is traveling to Nashville and wants a nice clean place away from the downtown core. Brentwood is a beautiful art of the city.

We stayed at the Brentwood Candlewood Suites for about three months. All of the staff were friendly and very accommodating. People that especially contributed to the enjoyment of our stay were Anna and Aurora. This facility met our needs and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing to stay in the Brentwood TN area. After the house we were building was completed, there was a part of us that was sad we were having to check out. We had grown to feel very comfortable at the Brentwood Candlewood.
