Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 1st time at Candlewood I had never stayed at Candlewood, and only booked there to acquire an additional hotel type for my elite club status. Overall experience - the room was very nice. The rest left me feeling that I was staying at an "upscale" version of a cheap competitor. This is not the fault of Candlewood - I was unfamiliar with their type of hotel. I prefer a hotel with more amenities. I will probably stay there again once in 2015 just to have the additional brand for my elite status, but will otherwise stay at other IHG properties in the future that have more amenities. Biggest positive - the room was very nice, with a complete kitchen. The room also had up-to-date furnishings, and - for once - plenty of electrical outlets. Biggest negative - without a doubt the internet service. Do not stay here if you have to do any work online. Connection was intermittant and slow. December 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Passing through Was travelling through Nashville with my dog. This is one of a few hotels that allowed pets, and charges just a small fee as compared to others. The rooms are great; the beds are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. December 17, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Company Ethics The hotel and property were in very nice condition. However, when we decided to check out early, and talked to the front desk staff (which included a manger) they said we would be refunded for the night. We had booked with part points and part cash payment. They never refunded us anything! Very disappointed in the ethics of this company. I will not be staying there (any of the Candlewood property's) again. December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2X in one week, same excellent service I stayed here on a Tuesday night and again on a Thursday night in the same week--the property was sold out on Wednesday night. Some people thought I was foolish for changing hotels three nights in a row. Nope. Worth it. Staff was pleasant, personable, and quick to check me in on Stay 1. I arrived late on Stay 2 and the lockbox worked just as it should. WiFi was solid; room was quiet; refrigerator was quiet; room was at 71 when I arrived--perfect for the weather--and staff made an extra effort to be there for early checkout. Thanks! December 6, 2014
