Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was very nice, clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly. Our only complaint was that another guest felt it was okay to smoke in a non-smoking hotel which permeated our hotel room. After 2 nights, we were moved to another room. It took the staff a bit to determine which guest was smoking. The point being, that it was beautiful outside and they could easily have gone outside to smoke. It was inconsiderate and sad that one person could have such an affect on others w/o even giving it much thought. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we have business in Cape Girardeau. October 8, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would not recommend for any length shorter than 3 days We were limited in available rooms in the area for the days we needed. We did not know that Candlewood is an extended stay facility. That must mean that daily room cleaning and complimentary breakfast as well as ice availability are not included. The refrigerators in the room do not make enough ice to make it worthwhile for a one or two night stay. Also, the names suites is misleading because it is just one room and a bathroom.
