I was amazed when i stayed there as the place is very clean and not noisy. The staff are polite and very easy to talk to. I will surely go back in this hotel. September 10, 2014

The room is clean and comfortable. I appreciate the greeting every morning and when I come "home". I suggest this location to anyone that wants to feel like they are at home. September 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellen extended stay in the Cape I enjoyed the afternoon and evening at the Candlewood in Cape Girardeau. We were traveling as a large group to the National Corvette Museum with a planned night in the Cape. I selected the Candlewood as my preferred hotel in the area and I certainly was happy with the selection. I used my reward points for the night; however, I will stay at this hotel again when I return to the Cape either using the rewards points or their very reasonable guest rates. The hotel appears new and in excellent condition. It is located in a nice area of the city making the evening a very enjoyable experience. September 6, 2014

And they always ask if there is anything they can do to make my stay more comfortable. The room is like home away from home and its always very clean and spacious with a kitchenette, which allows me to eat home cooked meals on the road. The grounds and common area's are always in ecellent condition and the gym has a nice assortment of exercise equipment to workout with. This definitely is my first choice for a hotel when I travel to Cape Girardeau, Missouri September 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Disappointed is all I can say. The room was good, the bed comfy, but I really disliked the fact that I could not even get a cup or two of hot tea for free. Tea bags in the cupboard are a dollar each. Housekeeping must have taken the day off as well. . Wet towels and wash clothes laying in the floor for a couple days seemed unhealthy to me. Other places might not exchange your towels if you hang them, but this was too much to believe. I will not be so eager to stay at one of these places again after this. They will be low on my preferred list of places to stay. . August 29, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Candlewood Suites, Cape Girardeau, MO I enjoyed four weeks at Candlewood. Having the flexibility to eat in or eat out was a plus. This facility is convenient to everything from Groceries, Medical care, to Walmart. The driving is easy with plenty of convenient parking places near the building. The facility is clean and I can get anything I need just for asking. The only thing that would make this a better place is a free breakfast on the premises. There are many convenient places to get breakfast: to sit down or to go. Being able to buy food and keep it in the fridge and to be able to cook cancels out the need for a free breakfast, however. This is also a quiet facility, especially at night.The bed is comfortable with ample room and pillows. Also, having a recliner to sit in after a day at work really helps my circulation as I elevate my feet. I don't feel like I have to go to my room and go to bed!. The wifi service is top-notch also. Yes, I do recommend this facility for those seeking moderately priced luxury! August 19, 2014
