Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff I stayed here from beginning of Jan until June. The front desk staff were the only ones I really saw or talked to much. They were wonderful and took care of any issues immediately. The only complaint I have is that I would have to go behind the cleaning staff and redo the floors. They were always sticky and I noticed a lid behind the bathroom door that stayed for over 2 wks (they cleaned once a week) until I finally removed it. Other than that, everything was excellent and I would stay here again. June 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms The room was actually one of the nicer rooms I've stayed at in a while. My only drawback is that the vent in the bathroom didn't work. This is not the only hotel with this problem that I've stayed in recently. You would think that you would have a working vent if there is a vent in the ceiling. I had to keep the door open while cleaning up since the air was not drawn out. June 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place but the staff is not the best The location is good and the rooms are clean. The grill is a nice thing to be able to use but the staff is not the best. I called and said i needed to reserve a room and when I got there they told me it was a single and I told them I had my kids and needed a double. Well they refused to give me a double or even a king. My friend checked in a little later and received a double so I know they still had some available. I guess if your going to call and reserve a room you they won't ask what kind of room u need they just assume you need a single and they won't change it when you get there. May 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice room, would have liked breakfast Room was very comfortable and clean. I was impressed with the amount of kitchen items that were stocked in the room. Only downside was no breakfast offered, which I thought I saw in the description when I booked it. I must have been mistaken. Price was very good for the C-U area. I would certainly stay here again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best stay! I do a lot of traveling for business. I was recently in the Central Illinois area for the week. The beginning of the week started at a nice Holiday Inn in Lincoln and ended at the Candlewood. The second hotel, at another chain, was so bad we cut our stay short and moved on to the Candlewood earlier than expected. What a nice change!! Staff was great and hotel was exceptionally clean. This hotel is going into my favorites list and will stay here again when coming back to Champaign-Urbana. I highly recommend this property to anyone traveling in this area. April 14, 2014
