Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Truly excellent staff This hotel is well above average for an extended stay; my wife and I have found ourselves in multiple situations requiring one in different places around the country, and this was the best we've seen. But the accommodations are not what was special about this hotel. What was really special was the staff. I had at least one (and for most, several) very positive experience with every staff member at the front desk, and I never had a negative experience. I never once hesitated to ask for advice or service; the staff was always friendly, gracious, and responsive to my various requests. Even the cleaning staff was friendly and would gladly return at a later time if necessary. I stayed at this hotel for 10 weeks during my internship, and I never had a single bad experience. I never felt unsafe, I never had noisy neighbors (next to me or above me, and I was on the first floor!), I didn't have trouble sleeping, or keeping the room cool enough, and my daily commute to downtown Dallas was only 30 minutes, even in rush hour traffic. Aside from getting a little stir-crazy from living in a hotel room for so long, I can't think of anything wrong with my stay here this summer. I can't think of any other hotel stay, including at far more expensive hotels, that has been so positive. I highly recommend this hotel to all who need a place to stay in Dallas, whether it's short term or long term. July 28, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff I booked a rewards night for my parents for one night on July 3rd. They were able to give them an upgrade even though they didn't have to. My parents are hard to please, but they absolutely LOVE this hotel! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Dad even called me that night and wanted me to thank the guy that checked them in but I was busy at the time and didn't catch the guy's name. If the manager find out who it was, would you please tell him how much I appreciates his kindness and will definitely come back in the near future. July 7, 2014

On my defense, Just for the one night, I should STILL used my points. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away from Home I've stayed at this Candlewood Suites for 6 months and feel like it is home. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The Bed sleeps wonderfully, the Bathroom is not cramped, the linens are of excellent quality, and the kitchen area very adequate. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. In making a reservation to return here, the online booking showed no availability, but the front desk clerk cheerfully made room for me. I try to find something wrong with this place but just can't! I heartily recommend this property for everyone! June 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what you should get for your money! This hotel is updated with modern decor and PLENTY of storage space. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is furnished nicely. Bed is adequate, as are the pillows. Flat-screen TVs! For the price, I don't know how you could do better, ever! HELPFUL HINT to folks planning on staying at the Park Central location: You must turn onto Amberton from Greenville in order to reach the hotel parking lot. There is no apparent signage to let you know that you're anywhere near the hotel. June 11, 2014

Housekeeping staff was a pleasure to work with, though. They tried their best, but the issues would take buying new sofas and chairs, as they were way past cleaning anymore. May 31, 2014

The quality of the ROOM AMENITIES and the wonderful staff are what make this brand and location great. Senedo, front desk agent and the GM Christie are great assets to this property and have made my long long stay wonderful and i wouldn't think second about continuing to do business with the brand and this location. the free internet is FAST and wireless and actually pretty secure...The tech support is available almost around the clock and they actually know what there doing and are able to help with tech issue. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy customer I've stayed at Candlewood Suites, Dallas twice as recommended by Mercury Marine. My second stay was devistated by my truck being broke into. My truck was in the second row straight out the front and parked under one of the overhead lights. I noticed that there are several security cameras mounted on the out side of the building facing the parking, but seems nobody seen anything. This tells me that the night shift must have been asleep as there were 4 other vehicles broke into the same night. The theft of contents was minimal except the pocket knife that was taken from my console. The knife was given to me by my father who passed several years ago, therefor the knife cannot be replaced. I am not pleased with Candlewood Suites and will not recommend to anyone. I will let Mercury Marine know my feeling towards Candlewood Suites. April 19, 2014

Smiles and happiness greet you the time you enter this Hotel and it carries through the whole stay. After a terrible check-in at the Candelwood suites in Texarkana this stay has restored my enthusiasm for this chain. the renovation is absolutely beautiful and comfortable . Huge fridge w ice-maker and a dishwasher and a huge LED TV !!!!!!! This might be bad for business as you don't feel like leaving the room.. 12Mbps lightning fast internet Highly recommended March 11, 2014

I stay at this Candelwood in Dallas for work all the time and when I do it is for 2-3 weeks at a time and ever since I started staying here it is always nice to go back. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very nice and are willing to do anything they can to make your stay the best. The rooms are very spacious and are all updated with great TV's and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are also very large and updated as well. When it comes to value this Candelwood is very hard to beat and when you add in the comfort, the upkeep and cleaning, the staff, and the location (tucked away in a nice safe spot) this hotel is hard to beat! I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Dallas area whether it be for 1 night or for a month. I am so glad I found this Candelwood and will be staying here everytime I head back up to Dallas. Thank you Candelwood Suites! December 27, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Room Clean; Basic Hotel We stayed one night at this hotel as we were going through Dallas. As soon as I entered the lobby area it reeked of smoke. I was not identified as a platinum member, nor was I granted an upgrade. I then requested something on the 1st floor, and once again denied, saying "we are full" But, I was given a voucher for $5.00 for anything in the snack area. The room was clean, but basic. It was nice to have a full size refrigerator. I would consider staying here again, but it was not one of our best stays at an IHG brand, but the price was cheap. December 19, 2013

We stayed at a Candlewood in Burlington Mass on our vacation for the first time and was so impressed with the room and the value that if there was a Candlewood in our next location that is where we booked! The Candlewood at Park Central Dallas was great! Had a suite with a separate bedroom and a large kitchen/living area. This Candlewood had the cleanest floors of any that we have stayed at. I always check the bottom of my slippers before I pack back up......the bottoms are light blue and they were perfectly clean! Which is a first, I normally have to wash them off before packing up! My only compliant which is popcorn in the microwave this time and only 1 decaf coffee left in the kitchen. That's OK because I always take my own coffee. November 22, 2013
