we chose this hotel blindly because it was in the area we needed and was dog friendly.
i would highly recommend this hotel. clean, comfortable, staff nice, nice neighborhood.

I stayed 5 nights during OTC 2014 at this hotel. It is a nice cozy place in Deer Park with very friendly staff who try to meet the customers need. I would consider coming back to this hotel whenever my travel leeds me there.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils for extended stay needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. This was my second stay at this hotel and I would definitely stay there again!

I have been into Deer Park several time. But this is my first time i stayed at Candle wood Suites Deer Park. My stay was very comfortable. Room are nice especially bedding's. Front desk staff was very helpful. Gave me the directions to best restaurant in town.
Over all it was a pleasant stay.

My experience began with no recognition of me as a rewards member little on a Gold Elite . I then was sent to a room that was fixing to be painted as by the paint can and brush in the room. Then around 5pm the noise began it seems my room was down by the stairs entrance, the side entrance door, and a housekeeping closet. It seems that the arm mechanism was not functioning properly and the doors were slamming to the point it caused a glass to come off countertop. I asked the front desk and the response was we are sold out and I am sorry. a better response would have been. I am going to handle it. I am going to speak with the individuals who are helping it slam, fix the mechanism, or I am very sorry and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I feel if I had been paying cash/credit my issues might have been taken more seriously but since I was on points it was shoved to the wayside. if I was cash/credit I would have been given a refund, instead I wasted hard earned points on a room in a property that I will never return to or recommend.

As a guest at the Deer Park hotel on many occasions I could not imagine staying at any other hotel in the area. The staff is extremely friendly, courteous, and willing to help you with any matter that arises whether related to the hotel or your changing needs as a business traveler, Staying at the Deer Park hotel is like staying with family. While I cannot remember all of the names of the staff, I would like to mention Chelsea, Laura, and the new girl that was there when I checked in on the evening of the 12th of February. It is easy to see that these ladies love what they do and they make you feel right at home. I have had one 8 week stay there and I never felt that I was alone because of the fine staff. I look forward to my next stay in Deer Park.
