    Bed was comfortable, service was poor

    The hotel is a very beautiful place but the staff (except Brenda) were not warm. I called to complain on how uncomfortable i was interms of how dirty the room was. I spoke to the lady at the receptionist(she is tall and slender) just listened and never gave suggestions on what to do about the issue. she only kept saying we only clean once a week. at least we should have like a duster to clean the floors and the condition of the rooms became unbearable to live in.

    Brenda was incredible, smiled and was always willing to help.

I apologize that your overall experience was not what you expected. The Candlewood Suites brand is designed to meet the needs of extended-stay guests by giving them the ''comforts of home''. After many guest reviews and surveys, the Candlewood brand has found that our typical traveler is here for long periods of time, and they generally prefer their privacy - somewhere that feels like home. They don't want someone entering their suite on a daily basis, because it becomes like their own space - as if it's their own home even. This model is designed by our typical guests and meets the needs of extended stay travelers quite well. I am sorry that our brand processes were not what you expected. Thankfully we have a family of nine different brands within IHG that all offer different services to their unique clientele. I am confident that IHG has a brand that is perfect for you!
