Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great people, well kept, lousy bed for a couple I have to say that the staff is outstanding (really), and the place was well kept. AC was a bit loud when the compressor kicked in. I stay at Comfort's here and there as I travel a lot for work. The Comfort (corporate defined?) beds are never great, and not as comfortable as many of the standard Holiday Inn. With that, my wife and I have determined that we're too old for a hard/shaky queen that Comfort uses. We wake each other up with tossing and turning, etc., etc. If you are solo, it would be better. Again, some of the best staff I've met are here - very positive personalities and flawless check-in, etc. The place is also well kept. December 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Customer Service and friendly, family atmosphere Stayed at Candlewood based on recommendation of my son who attends school in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by location of hotel, nice quiet area, size of the suite, friendliness of the staff. Every guest that entered was greeted with a smile and kind word. The guests all knew Quincy, the front desk attendant, by name and were glad to see him. The level of personal attention given to the each guests ( including myself)) was amazing. I enjoyed my stay and learned the following lesson: "You show people who you are by the way you treat them" December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tarheel Football weekend I was late scheduling a hotel for the UNC-Pitt game. Therefore I had to stay a little further out in the RTP. Turned out this hotel was very accessible and convenient. Close to many restaurants and I-40, yet tucked in to be very quiet despite a crowded hotel. I enjoyed the stay and find Candlewood to clearly meet my needs and the suite option with the mini-kitchen adds to the flexibility while staying there. Only issue was that I had to ask form IHG welcome points, but they were given after asking after the stay. December 8, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Still Waiting on Restoration of IHG Points Our first room had stains in the tub (black flicks of something that appeared to be living organisms)and standing water. The second and third rooms had the same issue including a burn on the counter top in the second room. The third room that we were showed as an alternate had stained/soiled linen. The fourth room, was not shown to us because the desk attendant personally believed that it was not suitable for guests. We were supposed to get our points restored with an email confirming same. To date, we have not received a confirmatory email reinstating the 10,0000 points, which buttresses our frustration with the overall stay. December 3, 2014

Close to everything to make things convenient. Local Market, places to eat, etc. Recliner chair is much appreciated. Everything needed in the kitchen. Like being at home.
