I live in Reno, NV and recently have begun having to travel to Denver in order to visit with my little girl. Through necessity, I have to travel alone, and being a woman alone on a trip like this can be very intimidating! But Candlewood Suites helped make my trip very pleasant; their location was perfect, as it was not only ten minutes away from my daughter's home, but only minutes away from shopping and restaurants. The room was perfectly clean when I checked in, the staff was very friendly and helpful--I'm five months pregnant with my second child, and any time I asked for help, the staff was there to help with a smile--and I felt safe.
My experience here was worlds away from my first stay in Denver, and I plan on making Candlewood Suites my regular go-to spot from now on. Especially if their prices remain so reasonable! For the amenities you get, (including, apparently, the ability to have your dogs with you. I don't have a dog myself, but I am a big animal lover, and recognize the importance of having your furry friends with you) the prices here were very satisfactory, more reasonable than you might expect, given how nice this hotel is. Definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Denver/Lone Tree area!

My room was fine but my associates did not have the same experience. Property seems to be heavy on long term stay versus short term business.

i liked being able to open the windows and let in the fresh air.
i was comfortable
i would come here again if the need arises.

Beds are not changed and the kitchen is not kept clean. Dishes are dirty, freezer is dirty with leftover food. Terrible experience

On Sep 25th when I returned from work (after a very long day) at about 10:30 pm, I was unable to open my room door. I tried for 5 minutes or so then I went downstairs to ask for help. I told the lady at reception that keys are working (I am getting green light) but door is stuck. She was kind enough to come upstairs for help. She tried but nothing worked. Door was jammed. She brought a machine to open the door but no luck. I was offered another room for that night but all my stuff was inside and I was to check-out next morning. Moreover I cannot sleep in a business suit. Any ways after lot of struggle while she unlocked the door with her machine I pushed the door very hard and it opened. The whole thing took more than half an hour. But this is not the sad part, I am upset because no one showed any concern next morning, as if nothing happened. I check-out, manager smiled, I asked for bill, I got one and that's it. I means it is so inconsiderate to ignore such an important issue when you are in customer service industry.
