My overall experience here was fair to adequate. The staff is apathetic, will do the minimum or nothing for you as a guest. I wouldn't trust them if they say they'll do something for you, you will have to double and even triple check that they did their job. The only competent staff member I encountered is Lauren.

had an early flight so we needed a place to stay for 1 night. you will Not find a better hotel for the money. would Definitely stay here again. great room, great staff, etc. really couldn't ask for anything more considering the price. this is a quality hotel

This a nice hotel, that allowed me to cook my own meal inside the room as well as being very close to the beach and one of the most important malls in the area. Also it's close to the port allowing any person to use this hotel as a potential stopover before moving forward with more adventures...

Hotel was very clean and nice but didn't understand why the rate was higher for 2 beds than one. Most of the time with Holiday Inns one bed is higher very convenient to everything and right off the hwy No Priority member gift at check in. Most of the time they call me by my name and thank me for being a club member but not here

We had been given a voucher from American Airlines due to a missed flight. Upon arrival to the hotel the service desk had informed us that they DO NOT TAKE VOUCHERS, as well as stated they were unclear of "why they keep sending you people here". In my line of business it never seems right to blame the customer for what is basically out of there hands and to try and fix the situation in as easy a manner as possible. Not the case in this circumstance. We sat around for about an hour while the front desk reps tried to ge a hold of his general manager who then finally called back allowing the rep to let us know "WE DONT TAKE VOUCHERS" your going to have to pay for you room.
I understand handing out free rooms isnt the best profit making for the GM however the whole situtation was treated poorly and put a really bad tatse in my mouth.

the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lobby area was a bit small but the rooms were very functional for an overnight stay (we were catching the first flight out in the am) The driver/shuttle was prompt, not overly friendly but not crabby either but using the trailer loading and luggage was not a problem. They desk agent put both rooms together which was nice.

The staff was very helpful in meeting all our needs and immediately recognized us as IHG Rewards Members and offered us a great suite upgrade. Will definitely stay here again when we cruise out of Fort Lauderdale.
