Hotel was clean, rooms were at standards for Candlewood Suites, but customer service was awful. My family, along with another family at the pool, were asked to leave the pool area at 3:30pm on a very warm Friday afternoon. We were asked to leave so they could power wash the pool deck to prepare for the upcoming holiday weekend, which the day we were there happened to be the Friday of that holiday weekend. Not sure why it couldn't have waited until 8pm when the pool closed or early in the morning when people were checking out, as opposed to checking in as it was at 3:30pm. In addition, I requested a later than 11am checkout and was told without any question as to what time I would like, NO late checkouts. We are short staffed and have to get all rooms ready at 11am. Again, if they are short staffed, the cleanings would have to be staggered so not sure why some effort couldn't have been made to provide some level of customer service. In both cases, the staff and manager for the pool issue were unwillingly to work with customers and provide a satisfactory level of customer service.

We stayed at the Candlewood Suites en route to our final destination. We required accommodation for the night, but although only for a short period wanted to ensure it was comfortably and clean. The Candlewood Suites provided excellent value. The room was clean and comfortable although some of the furniture was a little tired. I would recommend.

We were not disappointed with Candlewood Suites during our recent stay in Fort Myers, FL. As in our previous visit to KY, this hotel was very clean, the hotel personnel were friendly, and the room was very clean with everything we needed. The only issue concerning the hotel room was the water in the bathroom sink would not get hot. However, the shower hot water was fine. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our experience at this hotel.
