As with my and my co-worker's previous stay, the staff and general manager could not have done more to make our stay comfortable and accommodate in any way possible. Aside from a couple of hotel upgrade (which are necessary so all can enjoy in the future) hiccups, there is no place else I'd rather stay when in Fort Stockton.

Perfect place to stop after a long drive on the interstate. The town is a blip on the map, but this hotel provided a great place to rest. Customer service was through the roof, and the room was extremely neat and clean. Will definitely stay there again!

The Candlewood Suites in Fort Stockton has been one of the best hotels I have stayed in while on the road. The only thing I would change is the mattress on the bed. They need to be updated. Other than the mattress everything else was excellent. The staff and the manager were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again!

Updated, clean and inviting. We just finished a long drive, walking into the suite was so wonderful and relaxing.

Candlewood is a nice oasis in a truck-stop town. Don't expect fine dining anywhere nearby, but a comfortable bed, a clean room, a consistent package in kitchenette and recliner more than make up for the paucity in west TX.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bigmac86 I'd stay here again...
We were traveling to New Mexico and needed a place to stay for the night. It was midnight when we got to Fort Stockton, so I wasn't interested in searching for a good hotel. This one looked new, so I checked it out. The employee at the front counter was very friendly and helpful. Since it was midnight, he was able to give us a discounted weekend rate which is the only thing that made the price reasonable for our one-night-stay needs. I was disappointed to learn there was no continental breakfast, but since it's an extended stay hotel, that's understandable. There was plenty of food options in their pantry, but the items are for sale at reasonable prices, not free.
Overall, I enjoyed my one night here and would stay again.
