    After an 8-hour drive, we found comfort at this property. The room and building were clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly and efficient.

    It was a pleasant one-night stay and we would have been happy to have made it an extended stay.

    Staff is super friendly, every person in this hotel assures you get what you need and anticipates your needs. If I go back I will be sure to stay at the Candlewood Suites in Ft. Stockton.

    Stayed for four nights on this trip, third trip using this hotel.

    It took until the third night to realize the rash on my legs was actually flea bites (you can see fleas on a white sheet very well).

    After notifying the desk, they allowed me to transfer rooms.

    I still payed full price for the stay. It should have been free and then some.

    The front desk said I should have expected that from a hotel that accepts dogs. The hotel manager still has not called me back.

    Dear Justin S, First and foremost, I want to apologize for the inconvenience you encounter with your recent stay. As we are a pet friendly hotel, we also make certain we not only fog our suites that have had pets in them, we also have a professional exterminator that sprays for both fleas and bed bugs on a monthly basis. This is the 1st I hear of your concern, furthermore, I know for a fact that my front desk has been instructed and trained to comp any room if any guest has been bitten by any insects. I am confident that my hotel does NOT have such accusations as what you have indicated in your survey..
