No IHG platinum acknowledgment which means I did not get my bonus points.. Again, they did not have bottled water (they ran out) for the 2nd or 3rd time in a row that I've been here. Starting to get frustrated with all these "misses". Not nearly enough power outlets near the bed or even in the entire suite. It's just a lot different than other places I stay at with IHG. I hear fixes are coming, let's hope so.

As a whole the hotel was good to excellent. However, for what was paid would have expected a bed that did not "dish" in the middle. My husband & I rolled to the middle as if on an old worn out mattress.
Also, we stayed at 2 different hotels for 2 prior nights. We paid $10 less for the rooms, but had free breakfasts. Had to pay $10.99 extra for breakfast for a room that cost $10 more at Crowne Plaza. Everything else being pretty equal.
Not real likely to stay at a Crowne Plaza again. Only stayed since it was the recommended hotel for seminar attending.

This was not my most pleasant visit to the Arlintion Crown Plaza. I had tickets to the Cher concern so didn't arrive until after mid-night. Encountered the front desk person who was so busy compiling papers she didn't seem interested in getting up to greet me or enquire why I was at the front desk. I walked over to where she was seated to be checked in. As I am checking in she hands me a paper I must sign to confirm I understand the policy on smoking and that I will not smoke in the room. Once checked in I proceed to my room. I open the door to a room that has clearly been smoked in. I immediately contact the front desk but am told there are not other rooms available. I asked that she document this room smells like smoke so I don't get charged but was also hoping they could spray something to remove the smell. That didn't happen.
Before going to bed I set the thermostat to 68 as I like to sleep in a cool room. The current temp was 75. When I woke up the next day the temp was still 75. I called the front desk who said they would send someone up. I then left for my business meeting. When I arrived back at the motel at 9:30 the room temp was still 75. Once again I call the front desk and an extremely nice maintance man arrived within minutes. He says sometimes the rooms get to cold and they turn off the cold water return which regulates each room A/C. Within minutes the A/C was fix and working properly. I can not say enough good things about the maintance person, I wish I had gotten his name. Unfortunately I can not say the same regarding the front desk help.

Check in was so fast. Very nicely furnished rooms with very nice linens. The tub was slow draining the first night when we showered. Reported to front desk and it was fixed while we were out the next day.
A false fire alarm occurred at 5:30 a.m. which made for a horrible morning for many people. Also, the hotel, and fire department allowed a vehicle to remain parked in the fire lane just behind the building which would make it difficult for a large truck to leave the parking lot, so we can't stay again.
A guest staying for vacation or regular business who can use all the great features of this hotel will definitely enjoy it, but for those of us who work events long hours and only get to enjoy the nice bed and shower, and with concerns over getting a large truck out of the parking lot at 6 a.m. it does not work well, and is too expensive.

My family enjoyed our stay. My granddaughter had a blast at the pool and really enjoyed the glass elevator. I am grateful to the staff for finding the charger that I forgot to load. That has kept me out of the doghouse.

The staff here is amazing. I have stayed here many times over the past couple of years. Rooms clean, little dated. Breakfast could be better but you get what you get at a buffett, way overpriced. Like the location, parking, safety of the hotel. The staff makes you feel welcome. Rooms are comfortable and always clean, decor is dated but that is not much of an issue. Overall great place to stay.

I found that the hotel employees at this Crowne Plaza were pleasant and they really helped us enjoy our stay. The location of the hotel is just on the other side of the freeway from 6 Flags and "Jerry's world". Lots of restaurants right down the street which the shuttle can run you to.

Found the property to be clean and well kept. Very nice staff, however I was placed right next to other lodgers even though the hotel was practically deserted. Other than that, a very nice place to lay your head. Did not use the bar or swimming pool. There is a Starbucks in the common area. Very good wireless internet. TV selection was also good.

I have stayed at this Crowne Plaza on many occasions in the past and unfortunately this one was the worst experience I've had there. Generally I was satisfied, but the property appears to suffering from a little neglect. The atrium area was very noisy this time, which might have been due to holiday parties or some large groups staying, but at 11pm I was preparing for sleep and it was still very noisy. I would have expected a hotel employee to try and alert the crowd that it was late and people are trying to relax and sleep. The sofa in the living area is very uncomfortable to sit on, cushions sink down and there is little to no support. The worst part of this stay was my room was not cleaned on my last evening at the hotel, not a huge deal since I was on business alone, but if I would have had multiple guests with me, that would have been unacceptable. Due to the convenience of the location for my business I will probably stay again, but I may look to other properties in the near future.

The overall stay was wonderful. The restaurant and bar were overwhelmed after the game. The wait just to get a drink was 30 minutes and about an hour wait after you ordered food.
The shuttle service after the game was a mess. After being told where to meet the shuttle, people arrived and waited in line. When a shuttle arrived they loaded the people with children first ignoring the line and ignoring the people who were there first. When another shuttle arrived there was chaos and almost fighting to board the bus to avoid being left again. 45 minute shuttle ride to go 3 miles.

Stayed ion the double suite over looking the ballpark and stadium great view to wake up too. Front desk staff made the stay as they were friendly and accomodating for shuttle services and room needs. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Special thanks to Haly and Stephanie for taking care of us even though the Cowboys blew it versus Green Bay

Traveled to Dallas for the 50th anniversary of the JFK Assassination with family - mainly for my father. As I was with my mother, father, and sister this hotel was a no-brainier because of the exceptionally fair rate for the two queen suite. A separate room with a TV and sleeper sofa were highly desirable.
The top floor was designated as a quiet zone on weekdays which is also a plus.
The IHG Lounge for platinum members was also greatly appreciated.
Though I must admit the room we were in was a bit tired and worn out. There were noticeable damages (peeling wallpaper, worn carpet) all across the room.
Since the price was right, such imperfections were given a pass by myself and family.
Management was able to provide a microwave to me at no-cost thanks to IHG status. That was highly appreciated.
Travelling solo I would likely stay elsewhere, but with 3 or 4 people this is a great hotel for the price.

Room was drafty, outdated, and noisy. We were situated right next to a group of party goers. They were loud late into the night and the extremely hard bed made it difficult to get a good night sleep.
Although the restaurant staff and food was decent and the location is ideal, I don't think I would recommend this hotel to our visiting clients.
I've had much better stays at other IHG hotels and would encourage this location to update and/or clean the rooms a little more thoroughly.

We stayed at this hotel after an event in their banquet room. The whole stay was exceptional and the quality of the room was great. We would recommend this location for anyone who happens to find themselves in need of a good nights rest and quality service.

Several times an hour, loud knocking sounds kept me awake all night. I could hear people yelling in the atrium or whatever the open middle area is called for several hours into the early morning. Housekeeping knocked on my door before 8:00am.
The room was comfortable enough, but not nicer than than cheaper small hotels in the area. The only reason I stayed there was because I live 50 miles away and didn't want to drive home in the ice on Friday night at 10:30pm, and no other cheaper hotels had vacancies.
I would definitely not recommend this hotel because the price is too high for what you get, and if you want a peaceful night's sleep, you will not get it.

If you need a hotel to help you with airport problems this is the hotel to stay. We had a person in our party who's flight was delayed to the point that she would barely make it to the Donny & Marie Christmas concert. I called the front desk and they knew exactly what to do. The hotel tranportation manager,Montie, arranged for our friend to be picked up and transported to the Verizon theater! We all breathed a sigh of relief when we saw her waiting for us! A wonderful time was had by all! Thanks to Crown Plaza in Arlington,Tx.

We came in for the Thanksgiving day game of the Cowboys. We stayed for a week and absolutely enjoyed our stay. One of the reasons for a great stay is the most important person on the staff of Joshelin. She was more than helpful and wore many of different hats. Everytime you saw her she had a smile on her face and greeted you with a warm welcome. She should be promoted to Manager of the entire facility because of her customer service and passion for always doing the right thing for the customer. Next time we are in Arlington we will stay here. Thanks again Joshelin, Jason and rest of staff.

The hotel was in the perfect location for our trip as we went to Prairie Texas ,Cowboy stadium, Fort Worth and downtown Dallas. However the sofa beds were awful. We had 3 rooms total and all three sofas were so bad. When you sat on them they sunk and sleeping on them was even worse. It's bad when when it's all three. The room itself was okay, the king bed comfortable, however for the price and with all the other amenities you would think there would be a microwave in the room. There was one in Lobby office that we used once, but with kids, one in the room would be best. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a fine hotel, but I had nothing but problems with signing on to their wireless Internet and the speed was slow. I called the front desk about this and they would transfer me to their tech support. Another pain. I got connected finally, but every time I went on the Internet it took a long time to connect. WHY? I had no problem at DFW airport. In fact the wireless connection at DFW was many times easier to use and many times faster. I also found the bed harder than I liked.

As a Platinum Elite member, I enjoyed every aspect of my stay except for the way housekeeping has delt with a favorite liquid container that I had left behind in the room small refrigerator. I was told that "since it had milk in it, it was probably tossed". I am still in the process of verifying this with the head of housekeeping. Under no circumstance shoud ANY guests property EVER be tossed. What should happen is for management to call the guest.

I stayed October 19th to October 21st and my stay was great! I don't know how the front desk people do it, they had to deal with 4 Nasty customers complaining about the check in time at 3:00pm. The front desk employees were all very nice to them and got them rooms before 3:00, me included, I chose not to complain. The room was clean and nice. I ordered a pizza from room service and it was great. I also used their shuttle service to go get some things I needed. One employee stuck out, Derrick, he drove me to the airport and he was the best driver ever! He was so kind and friendly. He is truly an asset to the hotel!
