Loved that the candlewood had full fridges (expected a mini fridge and hot plate) But the mini-stove functioned great! bed was super comfy, bath was up to date and the showerhead was easy to adjust! gonna keep my mind more open to candlewoods in the future instead of always looking for a holiday inn :D December 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect stay Coming from San Antonio to take care of a project without having accommodations to start with was tough. But when I got to Columbus and looked around by the project site, with other hotels in the area, this one stood out. I'm glad I chose to stay here for the 30 days I needed. Friendly, accommodating staff, excellent amenities, convenience, clean rooms, outstanding furnishings and reasonable cost. I would recommend staying here for any reason because I would do it again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Could have paid less and gotten the same Was give a room with a room ionizer with a sign on door indicating "Room ionizer in use.." No other rooms had similar sign. After entering the room the odor was horrible. Returned to front desk, was given a room across from elevator. Other rooms were available. So much for being a" valued" Priority Club member. Bathtub stopper did not work nor did the microwave turntable. Both reported to front desk, stopper fixed, turntable not. Expect everything to work properly in a room I am paying for. Upon checkout, had to go to front desk for bill. Got bill with not so much as a thank you. Nor did this individual care about how our stay was. Items in the motel cupboard are horribly overpriced. Used to stay at Staybridge in Columbus, no longer because of service issues, now we find out Candlelwood is no better. We expect more from IHG properties! November 22, 2014
