I have stayed at this location ever visit to Gillette, which is 4 times per year. The staff is always professional and friendly. I did experience a malfunction with my ice marker in my room and they staff provided a bag or ice for me which was more than I would expect. I will continue to stay at this location and recommend to my other co-workers so they can take advantage of the great rooms and service.

Room temp. was hard to regulate!! Stayed cold in the room for a very long time, not a fan of the energy saving thermostat in 28 degree weather! Would be nice to have the room warm when you enter, it took 1 hour after arrival each night to get to a somewhat comfortable 68 degrees from being away for the day.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times before since i have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this time my experience wasnt as good. Mostly on little things to be honest but i expect those to be taken care of without me complaining.
My main issue was with my shower that had a horrible sewage smell. I know this was noticed by the cleaning service since every time they will clean the room they will leave the shower door open and the vent in the bathroom on. I would expect them to have reported that and be taken care of rather than wait for me to complain. Maybe i should had but i didnt.
Second was with the bulbs in the room. Again, i did not complain but only a few lights were operating when i first moved in the room and some died during my stay.
Third issue was with the complimentary toiletries. Since the cleaning service is once a week, i would expect to get a new set every time. I had to actually ask for another soap and shampoo from the reception 10 days into my stay, and after the room was cleaned twice - my last stay was for 20 days.
Fourth was with the internet through ethernet, which was working fine for the first three of my stay but then it just stopped.
Last, which was only but a minor issue, i was not recognized as a priority club member on my check in - i am a Gold member - and didnt get my little snack bag - i would have liked a bottle of water at 10pm.
Again, i should have probably brought these issues to the receptionists during my stay but since i was only in the room for 8 hours a day i didn't bother.
It's these little things though that you expect the management to take care of and know that they are willing to take the extra step for their customers.
I will probably stay at this hotel again since the pros are more than the cons - usually.

I found the room to be smaller than other candlewood Studio Suites, but still very comfortable. Love having a kitchen. Wish the rooms had king-size beds. The staff was fantastic. They were very friendly & made me feel right at home. I travel for my job, more than 300 days of the year & will always try to stay at the Candlewood in the future. Thanks for having me.

I was told by others (that I work with) that I should try your location. When I requested a room at my normal stop, they were not available so they recommend you. I was very happy with the selection to stay with you and will return in the future.

Pet Policy is extreme and changes every time. The desk was rude and unresponsive to my needs and inquiries.
