Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant Stay Not a bad stay. Really, the only complaint was the noise from the refrigerator - it never seemed to stop running (I forgot to tell the front desk, though!) The only thing I didn't like was the 24 hour cancellation policy if I'd needed to use it. I would stay at this hotel again. September 12, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 3 day visit Overall, this Candlewood was a nice place. We were there Labor Day weekend and possibly they were understaffed because all of the outdoor trash cans were overflowing for 2 of the days we stayed. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful. One young man had such terrible penmanship I couldn't read my room number or my Wi-Fi password but we were able to resolve those issues quickly. The Cupboard was fine for snacks, more healthy options would have been nice. The room itself was a great size and very comfortable. The A/C was noisy but the nights were cool enough to leave the window open. We brought our dog and the surrounding area was great for walking her. We would stay again. September 4, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice place, only 1 complaint The room we stayed in was very nice. The bed was comfortable, but a little small, but we are used to a King bed at home, so we are just spoiled that way. The only real complaint was the order of the rooms as we walked to our room. We had to pass all of the smoking rooms on our way down the hall to get to our non-smoking room The hall had a definite stench of cigarette smoke from the adjoining rooms. By the time we got to our room the smell was gone and our room did not smell. I don't know if it would be possible in future when building these suites that you set up the smoking rooms to a whole floor and non-smoking to another floor, put non-smoking rooms first as you walk down the hall, or add better ventilation to keep the odor out of the halls. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay after one hiccup When we arrived at the hotel, we could not check in until 5pm even though check in began at 3pm. We were told they were cleaning our room and that was the reason for the delay. When we got to our room it was very humid and the temperature was 83. I turned on the AC and called the front desk for a fan. The person at the desk came straight up but the 2 fans the hotel owned were in use already. She told us the AC shuts off when no one is in the room and since our room had sat vacant for a time, it would take a while to cool. But I thought housekeeping had been in the room for the previous hour! We were exhausted from the day of travel and decided to tough it out and move the next day. The room finally cooled off by 2am. We ended up staying for a total of 4 nites and had no further issues with the hotel or climate control. We intend to stay here again in November due to the convenient location. August 22, 2014
