Typically I avoid extended stay properties, but my experience at this hotel has changed my view. This stay was the best experience I've had in years and for a guy that travels 150+ nights a year that is saying something. My favorite part of this stay was the ultra clean bedding, room, and bathroom. Coming in a close second were the extremely friendly staff.
Everything functioned properly and there was plenty of space to stretch out. I can't say enough good about this property. Other properties should model their business after this one.

The staff is fully knowledgeable. The rooms are fresh and the bedding is excellent. An excellent jump off spot for the mountains.

I am happy to say that my stay was great. I think everyone was very helpful. Everyone I spoke to was kind and willing to help. That is what i look for in a hotel when i travel. Rest at ease. Thank you for the stay.

We found this to be the nicest of the three Candlewood Suites we've visited over the last couple of years, and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Denver area.
Our Queen Suite was large, modern and generally comfortable and the in-room kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. The location in West Denver is very convenient for getting up into the mountains quickly, and there is a variety of grocery and department-store type shopping within a short drive. The front-desk staff during our stay were very friendly and helpful.
If you are travelling with pets as we were, one advantage of this location is that they will allow 2 pets per room. However I personally find the daily per-pet fees at most places (including this one) to be excessive and unwarranted.
To be honest, the sleeper sofa in the Queen Suite does not make the most comfortable bed (thin mattress over springs) and would likely not be comfortable for a large adult(s) or for an extended stay.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Shivering No hot water, no climate control
Two hours after checking in a note was stuck on our door saying there would be no hot water from 10 to 5 the following day, the day we were attending my mother's funeral. No mention was made of this at checkin.
The new climate control system is a disaster. The occupant can't choose between heat and air conditioning. Rather the "high-tech" unit decides when to switch between the two. My daughter who was on the sofa bed next to the unit was miserable.
When we asked for extra blankets for the following night, we were given one thin blanket and told that they didn't have any more, even though the hotel was no more than a third full.
