    This is one of the nicest, cleanest, stays for the money I can remember. I travel more than most people and consider this a great value, and it is pet friendly. It is in a very good location, it's quite new and very clean.

    My wife and I live 100 miles from this Hotel, so we come to Grand Junction several times a month to spend the weekend. We take in a show or two and visit area restaurants. We have stayed downtown on occasion but preferred the Candlewoood because of the proximity to the theatre. We stayed one night in November, the room was less than acceptable,the classes in the cupboard were dirty,the floor in the bathroom had dirt and glitter all over it,the kleenex had been used up and replaced with toilet paper, several other cleaning items were brought to the attention of the manager. He stated that apparently the room had not been properly cleaned. We agreed and he apolgized by giving us enough points for another stay. We stayed in December and I am sorry to say it was as bad if not worse. The glass in the Bathroom had green toothpaste on the rim, this was discovered by my wife as she was taking a drink from the glass! UGH! There was toothpaste spit on the sink faucet, dirty glasses in the cupboard, again. The floor had not been vacuumed (potato chips) around counter area. I'm very disappointed, we won't be back. You seriously need to look into this!

    Dear Mr. Willy&co, First let me thank you for the feedback. I can not believe that this happened twice! I know that words can not express how sorry I am for your unsatisfactory stays. To say that I am disappointed in my staff and in myself would be an understatement. We take pride in the job that we do here, and to receive such poor reviews is completely unacceptable.
