Centrally located within 5 miles of downtown, plus there are a ton of good restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms have full kitchens and free wifi. What more do you need? Would definitely stay again. November 1, 2014

Out of all the properties I have stayed at in that time I’ve have enjoyed the quality and service in every stay except one in Chicago. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a great place to land! When I stay here I am in the middle of a very hectic travel and work schedule. This property is great and easy to relax once I get there. I can darken the room in an instant for a quick nap and there is plenty of room on the floor for pilates. There is a Trader Joe's just down the street so I don't have to lug a lot of food with me for the stay. The staff is also very attentive to needs. This is the only spot for me in Greenville. When I need I can spread out paperwork, computer and printer and get to work. If I just want to relax the beds are so comfortable and the room can be darkened in an instant. There is enough rom on the floor for my pilates mat and all movements involved for a great workout. The kitchen is great and there is a Trader Joe's right down the street for great ready made meals and fresh veggies. The staff has always been very accommodating and caring. From Check in to Check out, the staff was very friendly and helpful and check out was super quick. Also, the rooms were updated and fresh and amenities were provided across the board. Even though it was a short stay, I loved that there was a kitchen in the room. This was my first time at a Candlewood and definitely plan to stay again. October 15, 2014

You are welcomed and talked to like they've known you for years, not just a simple customer for a one nights stay or more. The rooms are always clean and very comfortable. I love the kitchen area when I'm staying for longer periods of time for work. It really feels like you're at home away from home. Fitness facility is great, although small. But normal for a hotel workout room. Greenville Candlewood also has an outdoor pool which I would've loved to use if it was warm enough! Overall, the staff make the stay so great! I had an enjoyable time, and if I ever come back to Greenville for work or fun, I'll be staying there. October 14, 2014

Also no daily housekeeping (this was Ok with me but please consider this as you choose) Overall a great place, extremely friendly staff. A good movie selection also available at the front desk. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Staff Very nice property and rooms however we encountered very bad front desk/office staff. We pre-paid for the premium king suite room and had our confirmation with us but the front desk tried to give us a standard double room. The woman working the front desk did not care one bit that we were not getting what we paid for. When I asked her for a refund to go somewhere else or for the difference back in the room rate she said she was not authorized to give refunds. Then we started calling the Manager and the 1800CustomerService number from the lobby and it took an hour of phone calls to finally get us into the room type we paid for. The front desk told us that the person on the day shift had changed our reservation type but did not give a reason why. I asked how do you change a pre-paid reservation and not think the customer is going to be unhappy about it. I told her we prepaid and all we want is what we paid for or give me my money back, if your not giving me what I paid for then that is the same as stealing. It was a little shady that after a bunch of phone calls that the room type that we were told was oversold became available. Awful customer service at this property. September 12, 2014

Over all this would be good for a longer stay than 2 days and would be good if I had my family visiting with me and wanted to cook at home. I think it was really cool that they had propane BBQ's available for use out by the pool side even though I didn't have a opportunity to use them. August 26, 2014

Was only 6 miles from the Shriners Hospital where my granddaughter had surgery. The staff were so friendly and helpful to us and awesome personality. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay, exceeded my expectations Clean, modern suites. Very warm and competent staff. Extremely pet friendly if you're traveling with an animal companion. Truly, the only downside I can think of for this property is it's location. It is off Woodruff Road, which has some of the worst traffic in the country. It also has every restaurant, amenity, and store you could possibly want to visit, so I suppose the location is both a benefit and a drawback! I stayed while relocating to the area and will definitely recommend this property to visiting family and friends. August 17, 2014
