Indoor pool was a great feature in a snowstorm in February. Kept the kids occupied. Room was very clean and pillows were super soft. Didn't use the kitchen, but it was nice to see and clean as well. Night clerk was very friendly when we checked in and I was glad to see the "cupboard" in the lobby as I forgot a toothbrush and didn't have to go out in the snow to buy one. Great location for those going to the outdoor show as the shuttles pick up next door at the Bass Pro/mall.

We would highly recomend staying at Candlewood Suites Harrisbug/Hershey. Everything was great. Absolutely no problems whatsoever.

Traveling with kids we need 2 rooms. It's always a challenge to get rooms together. Michele, from the front desk was very friendly and made sure everything worked out great for our family. We really appreciated her going the extra mile to make our stay perfect. This was a nice, new, great property with amazing staff. Hershey park with all the fun attractions was close by. Thanks.

My family and I absolutely love this wonderful and clean hotel. We stayed here in October and enjoyed it so much, we took another trip to Hershey and spent our nights here again. We arrived early and were able to check in right away. We were greeted very warmly by the front staff and by either the manager or general manager. As an IHG member, I was even given a bonus points voucher for redemption. I did have a problem with the voucher but after a short conversation with the manager/general manager today, he promised to have the points added to my account anyway. Back to our stay, our one bedroom suite was spotless and inviting. We really liked the full kitchen. Our bed was very comfortable and our son enjoyed the sofa bed. The pool and jacuzzi was clean and warm. I even took advantage of the free washers and dryers (bring your own detergents). The staff is very helpful and nice, but they could use more people to man the front desk. This is an extended stay hotel so there is NO daily room service. There is also NO restaurant on site or complimentary breakfast....only coffee. All in all, it is one of our favorite hotels for its cleanliness and wonderful staff. Check in was worst example in my 95 nights this year. Night staff completely lost and unable to compete basi functions like room changes or dealing with points. Ultimately led to canceling reservation when clerk could not figure out how I allow me to pay for a room. Took the day shift clerk and IHG to unscrew my points balance. If not for day shift clerk, Tara, this property would have ruined our short vacation visit to Hershey. Fair warning, Manager check the quality of your staff, especially those who are outside the direct supervision of managers, or be prepared for an avalanche of bad reviews. Truly a shame for sick a beautiful property.

For a new hotel, my family and the other family that traveled with us were very disappointed!!! We travel with our children once a year to visit Hershey Park and usually stay at Staybridge Suites in Harrisburg. This hotel was booked so we chose Candlewood Suites since their room setups appeared the same. The 2 hotels DO NOT compare! This hotel was NOT easy to find, our GPS could not locate it based on the address. Then, when we arrived and were checking in, the front desk clerk explained that there was NO housekeeping! We stayed 2 nights here and would have had to pay a fee to have our beds made and room cleaned after the first night. Not to mention, there is NO breakfast, coffee or tea. It was also noisy, at night we could hear the guests walking on the floor above us. This hotel is too expensive for the little that it offers! The only positive things I can say about this hotel are the staff was friendly, it was clean and it offered games and movies for the kids to enjoy. We were not satisfied and will NEVER stay here again!

I can not say enough about the staff. From the Mgr. who stopped to say hi at check in to the assistant who cheerfully came to the room to show me how to operate the a/c, to the unbelievable friendliness of the front desk staff.
