Friendly staff, full kitchen, plenty of room and good price. Can save a lot of money making your own meals. Convenient to I-81 and 33 highways, mall, JMU, Massanutten ski resort. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First time at Candlewood Suites was great My husband and I are IHG members who have stayed in many IHG Holiday Inn properties, but only for one or two nights at a time. Our usual extended vacations have been taking cruises, never a destination stay for a week at a hotel. IHG's Candlewood Suites has opened our eyes to a whole new way of vacationing. The large, comfortable room with a full kitchen will allow staying longer in one spot very pleasant. I only wish we could have stayed in a two room suite with a king bed or two doubles. Harrisonburg's CS had only one queen in their two room suite. October 25, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't stay here The non-smoking room we were given was blatantly a smoking room. The second room had chewing tobacco spit all over it - walls, floor and in the bed. So they obviously had not even changed the bedding between guests. This place was disgusting. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me! October 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff made me feel at home. I have certain standards, that is why I choose IHG properties. The staff at this hotel just exceeded all expectations of front desk staff. They made me feel like I was arriving at home, not a hotel. They offered to help bring in my luggage, asked if the room was missing anything. The room was great; the bed very comfortable, I felt very safe, the room was clean and well lit, and the kitchen was really nice. That said, the stars of the hotel are the Staff. Thanks guys.
