The staff is friendly and professional, the room is clean and comfortable and I really like the kitchenette. The view is wonderful. Overall, I think this Candlewood Suites is a very good value for the money. I do have four wishes: 1) The staff be recognized for their consistent high quality service. 2) Someone opens a good restaurant -- it's a shame to waste that view. 3) Something can be done about the elevators--they smell strongly of cigarette smoke. Yes, I am an ex-smoker & we are the worst about that. 4) Better signs/directions from the highway. June 3, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good for the night. Stayed here back in November for a night. Room was well equiped and clean. Checked in late and left early - good for the night. Hotel is very very difficult to find. Had to phone the office and the young lady was very polite and very good at giving additional directions. Never stayed at a Candlewood suite before but like I said it was clean and peaceful. I usually stay at HIE's with the comp. breakfast. But after traveling I-80 From Indiana to PA the clean and quiet Candlewood Suites at Hazelton worked just fine. January 7, 2013

Don't change a thing in that regard. My wife and I were completely and pleasantly satisfied with our stays on both our "to and return" trips during our recent vacation.
