There is construction going on and street noise. I was woken at 5-00a.m. by loud machinery. The hotel is poorly located in a run-down area of Hamilton - vagrants, pay-day loan stores, thrift stores[More]
etc. - I was told by hotel staff that at least there weren't people carrying guns like in the US, but it did not make me feel safe walking around outside at night.
The spa was broken and nobody seemed to know when it would be fixed - it wasn't fixed the week we stayed there. I would have thought that a pricey hotel would have fixed things more quickly.
That said the hotel had high standards of cleanliness and superior bath and bed linens. The continental breakfast was good. [Less]
"Cleanliness overall and excellent Customer service"
My daughters and I stayed at three rooms, one being a Suite. This was our second year at this Hotel, in St. Jacobs. From the moment that we arrived, earlier than Check In time, to the time we left,[More]
the Staff was amazing doing everything to make us feel comfortable. The staff and the clean well organized rooms, breakfast, was all perfect. Loved the way the bathroom has room for our "stuff" by having shelves where we could place our toiletries.
Also, location was perfect. Right by the Farmers Market.
Thanks to the management and the staff at this Hotel, we had a beautiful and memorable visit. [Less]
This hotel was exactly what we needed. We have three small kids, and were looking to get away for a weekend. nothing extravagant, we just needed space and quiet. Woodstock is close enough to our home[More]
that we rode our motorcycle. We went to the park, and a cheese mill, but for the most part, we staying in the suite, and enjoyed the hotel.
The room was great. The jacuzzi tub hit the spot. The pool was fun, but definitely geared towards kids. There is a great water slide, and a lifeguard. The water slide was fun, but we sorta felt like we had a chaperone. Again, great for kids, but not what we needed!
Overall, this was a great hotel that provided a clean, comfortable experience, which was exactly what we needed. [Less]
