Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Just Another Hotel Seemed like a fine Hotel online. I got there but it felt a little dangerous on the outside. Upon entering the people were nice and everything was clean. I got to my room and it looked nice but the room smelt like an ashtray and that was the last impression. October 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stay at Candlewood Suites for business / training Good total experience, helpful staff, clean public facilities and standard room. Laundry facilities were good, although the facility dryers take longer than other industrial / commercial units at public facilities. Lighting throughout the property was good, all of the room's lighting was good. Good placement of electrical outlets for personal and work use. Television channels extensive. Television good excepting occasional intermittent connection when adjusting the screen angle. Internet somewhat erratic, however proportionately good based on a 2-week stay. Kitchen and refrigerator was good, acceptable cooking utensils. September 26, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rocky start but ended well I relocated to Houston for work and spent 2 months at this location. The second night I was here the AC stopped working and I woke up at 3:00 am in a puddle of sweat. The front desk moved me to a room down the hall so I would be able to sleep that night and told me this would be my new room. When I returned from work the next day I was told I would be moving to my third room in two days because the second room they put me in was not meant for extended stay customers. After having to move all of my stuff around the first two days things settled in nicely and I ended up in a nicer/bigger room than I started in. The Candlewood Cupboard was VERY convenient but WAY overpriced. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I would have given this location 4 stars except the laundry situation was a disaster. They provide three wasing machines and four dryers for the entire property to share at no additional cost which is great. The problem was that it took about 45 minutes to wash a load clothes and over TWO HOURS for it to dry. Often one of the dryers (if not two) were not working which caused a major backup in the laundry room. August 1, 2014

When I entered the Hotel, I was immediately greeted by a friendly lady who smiled and seemed happy to assist me. It was one of the easiest check-ins/outs I have ever done, in fact my room cards, wifi code was already prepared for me. The room was very clean, and kitchen area had more amenities than I ever expected. My stay here was very pleasant, and it's location to stores and food etc., is great. If I ever need a place to stay while in Houston, this will defintely be my 1st choice in the Katy area. July 1, 2014
