    Had a long layover in Houston, stayed at this Candlewood, clean room and great staff. By far the best Candlewood I ever stayed. Definitely will will come again.

    Everything was great at the hotel. I just wish the business equipment was business friendly and working. Such as a Fax machine, working printer and maybe two computer's available in the lobby.

    Great Place to Stay

    I am a member of the IHG Rewards Club and have been using Candlewood and other member hotels for over ten years.
    This particular property has met my high expectations of the Group and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a "home" away from home.
    My only suggestion for improvement would be an updating of the room carpet in the very near future. However it was not unclean or smelly

    Professional Customer Service

    Front desk Customer service is great at this Candlewood suites hotel. I stay with this group all the time in various places around the US. By Mistake a wrong charge was made to my Credit Card. When I called the Front desk, they reviewed it and make the corrections immediately. It was not only the promptness with which this was handled, but the professionalism displayed by the Front Desk Customer Service person that took me by surprise. the was pleasant in her dealings, professional in her approach and quick to accept the mistake and action the correction.

    I have enjoyed my stay at this resort. since I stay for long periods at a time, I do appreciate the homely feeling you get at this Hotel and the friendly smiles and greets that you get from the staff here, Customer Service, Housekeeping, and drivers.

    Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Houston - closer to the airport

    Business trip

    I was very unhappy with my latest visit to this property. I requested a smoking room (I know it is not guaranteed), however, upon checking in early in the check in time period and was told they did not have one and had know since the morning. I would just appreciate a phone call. I have stayed here for 6 weeks plus at a time for the last 3 years. All it would have taken was a phone call. Usually the staff is on top of things, but then again I did not see any of the staff from a year ago so maybe they had a staff change.

    Dont plan to grill out! Grills don't work
