Light was out in the bedroom over the desk, water was leaking under the bathroom sink, knob on cabinet drawer was broken.

I am a frequent traveler to Houston & stay here every time. I will continue to stay here as long as the customer service & rooms remain updated & clean as they always are. Believe me, as soon as I have a bad experience I will review on it. Thank you to the kind staff for always upgrading me for being a platinum member & recognizing me when I come in.

Once again I have experienced great customer service and an overall great stay! The room was clean, the staff was so friendly & very accomodating! I am a platinum elite member & was upgraded with no problems. I really love staying here! I hope I continue to have this great service as I stay here often.

For a long term stay, with family, this is a nice property. If your looking for more upscale or luxury accomodations this is not your choice chain. Go to other IHG properties

Nice place for a multi-night stay. Friendly staff, nice workout room. Munchies available. Quiet location that can be difficult to find without GPS. Please turn on the ACs in the hallways.

Facility had hot water problems on 2 of the 4 days I was there. On Friday morning there was absolutely NO HOT WATER! This hotel was typically one of my first choices when staying in Houston but I will avoid in the future.

I was tired, irritable, and sick of driving. The Front Desk staff was awesome. Both am and pm shifts were attentive to our needs. Great customer service! That counts for a lot!

My husband were in Houston for a family visit recently. We chose this property as it was between the two families we were seeing.
Everything was great, the amenities, the suite design and appointments, and the maintenance. We would stay there again!

Not noticed for being a Platinum member. Asked for an upgrade and the front desk personnel did not even look to see if it was available. Bed very uncomfortable. AC very noisy. Internet comes in and out. I have noticed that IHG properties are going downhill rapidly. I have spent 100 plus nights and it is really disappointing. Will have to shop for a new chain, because this one is not working. One other thing booked the bonus point weekend, points were not posted again. Very disappointed.

I love this hotel! I stay here every 3 weeks or so & am always treated with such kindness. The hotel has recently been renovated & the new rooms are so nice! This is an excellent hotel with the best value in the area for what you get. It is clean & comfortable. I will be back soon :) Thanks again to the wonderful staff!

For home away from home, in our technological way of life, the internet is very important.
I had to use my own 3G internet to enjoy the web.
Watching YouTube, downloading software patches for my customer or even connecting to the computer back home - I had to use my own 3G connector.
I would recommend to use twice a week cleaning orientation cause once a week is not enough, and if you are there for a week - you're not really enjoying the cleaning services.
The only other compliant is, that although I paid full money for the breakfast including fruits - for the first 2 weeks there was none cause I was told that nobody wants them and that's OK - but shouldn't I get something else ? or the price should go down ?
Other than that, everything was great !

We have stayed here for the past two years, totaling about 6-8 stay because of the excellent location and immediate area. We prefer staying on 3rd floor, rooms 335-339. However, this last stay we didn't get the rooms we requested, even though we specifically identified them 2 months in advance.

I have stayed at the Candlewood Suites near the Galleria a number of times in the past few years and have had a great experience every time. The reception staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make sure the stay is enjoyable.
The location is easy to access and in a good neighborhood.
The rooms are comfortable and well maintained.

I only had one bad experience. I reserved my room on line and was told that I could pay for my room with cash. Upon my arrival to the hotel with all my baggage, I was told that I had to use my credit or debit card. At the time I did not have the full amount on my card. It was late on a Saturday evening and I barely found a bank open to make my transaction. I was not very happy at that moment. I told the desk clerk that I was not told by the online reservationist that I could not use cash. So for future references it would be nice if the online services know the rules of all their hotels. Other than that I really do enjoy my stay at the Candlewood Suites. I do plan on staying there again soon.

I do not know if refrigerator or the AC making noises at night when you go to sleep. Very congested room, bed was uncomfortable, no free breakfast in the morning. Front desk could not find my booking. I will not recommend this property to anyone for stay. Internet was not working properly.
