Nice place to stay for business if working in NW Indy. For leisure, it's far from downtown or the entertainment areas. Great value for what you get.

I was exhausted....arrived on Wednesday and before I could even check in, the staff had a "Customer Appreciation" event in the lobby..... hot dogs, chips, drinks, great desserts etc..... free....lots of guests sitting around and chatting...... heck yes..... a free dinner and fun people.....
Rooms were awesome..... kitchen area was nice..... though I did not use it...... The "Candlewood Cupboard" was a room with snacks, small meals , drinks etc...... just slide your money in the slot..... Simply genius..... they had toiletries, milk etc..... Grabbed breakfast and lunch there on two different days.....
The staff was extremely nice and friendly...... helpful...... I was originally in a Red Roof Inn but they were booked for Wednesday through Saturday..... Candlewood pulled a few strings and got me in..... which was greatly appreciated !
I have stayed in some outstanding and expensive hotels in my day BUT..... this place made me feel "right at home"..... Simply a great experience !

Upon check-in, the front desk agent was very unpleasant. She seemed annoyed by the fact that myself and my colleagues wanted to put our rooms in our own names with our IHG rewards numbers. She took told us that she changed the information in her system, all while having a bad attitude. Providing information about the hotel amenities seemed like a chore, and when we inquired about restaurants in the area, she seemed to get even more annoyed.
Upon check-out the next morning, I noticed that my bill still had my colleagues information on it. I had to call after my departure to get it changed. I was supposed to receive a call back from a manager but never did. I really hope my company does not book rooms for us at this property again. Very frustrating and disappointing.
