    Great Hotel

    I stayed for one night during a driving trip from Kansas City to Boston. All my wife and I wanted was a clean quiet room and a comfortable night sleep. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman, who explained the hotel amenities. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable.

    We got had a good night sleep and we will use Candlewood suites again. Great value for your money.

    Candlewood suites can vary in service and quality from property to property. This particular Candlewood Suites Indianapolis East is one to avoid. Even before arrival a front desk clerk harassed me by phone to say that my reservation was being cancelled due to late arrival and the need to check me in that minute. Being a Platinum Guest I have never been phoned in advance to say that my reservation was being cancelled around 6pm local time - especially when the reservation notes indicate a late arrival. Once onsite there was no maid service for the room. Even more disappointing was the fact the hot water was not working properly. Despite complaints to hotel management and IHG corporate, no considerations were made. I will still consider Candelwood Suites as an option based on other past experiences with the brand, but this property is off my list.

    Dear Parker12345, I am sorry for your unfortunate experience with our hotel and staff. Guests did experience hot water issues during the timeframe of your stay. We did get someone out to correct the issue as quickly as we could. You are correct, our hotel does not provide daily housekeeping service as we are an extended stay hotel that offers weekly housekeeping service. Again, my sincerest apologies and I am so glad to know that you will still stay with the hotel brand. I know that we posted additional points to your account.     No Breakfast

    Was pretty disappointed to hear that this particular hotel with Holiday Inn, doesn't provide breakfast. Then also noticed, when walking back in from dinner- the front desk dude was sitting down in a chair watching TV in the lobby
