We stayed at this location last year for a three night stay. We enjoyed our stay and booked again this year for a three night stay. Our daughters were in town during our stay so we had them book here also. My brother was driving through from Charleston and called me while we were out so we had him book here also. Very enjoyable accommodations and staff was very friendly.

The front desk staff in the evening was very nice and friendly. He was very helpful. however, we had a different experience in the morning. We could not checkout because no one was in the front desk in the morning. We wasted about 20 mins and rang the bell few times but nobody responded. Finally I used the lobby phone and dialed the front desk. Then a staff member came from inside and she was irritated since I called them without further waiting. We had lots of plans for the day and 20 min is very important and did not want to waste. The tub in the bathroom did not drain well. Other than that room is spacious and the furniture was very comfortable, we had a good night rest. The kitchenette was very useful and had everything we needed. Free laundry, lending Dvd's were plus points . I will choose candlewoods again in our future vacations.

I understand the idea of an extended stay hotel.
When I get to my room I would like some ice for a cold drink.
Why not have ONE ice machine in the loby or have small bags of ice in the cupboard. The ice machine in the room was turned off, as always. It did not make ANY ice overnight after being turned on.

front desk clerk was friendly. Room clean, but in morning, I found a mouse poop on the white towel I put on floor as a bathmat night before. I did report it to the desk clerk upon checkout to only hear "that's the first I've heard of that." No apology offered. Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils. Noise from highway was not noticeable until 6:45 a.m. when some idiots kept pounding on the door of the room across from mine. :( TV was very nice, no problems with channels- remote was marked to not touch certain buttons which may explain the problems mentioned in other reviews. Parking is an issue if you arrive late.

Room, ambiance, facility as expected at this hotel chain. Many sites at the desktop computer were blocked, including ichotels.com and the American Airlines. No gold member gift this time.

The staff could not get any better. A wonderful group of people. I moved 500 miles away from my home, Indianapolis, IN. But every time I come home to visit, I stay here.

We have stayed here twice and really enjoyed my stay. Nice, quite, roomy rooms and a nice little munchie shop with a nice selection of candy, drinks and munchies. Will stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Candlewood Suites Indianapolis East. The hotel smelled brand new, The rooms were clean and looked very nice. The bed was so comfy I could have slept in it all day. It was nice to have the convience of a kitchenette, with cupboard stocked with essintials. I would reccomend this hotel and will stay there again the next time I come back to Indy!

I stay at alot of Holiday Inn properties. I am leaning more and more towards the Candlewood Suites. I was very impressed with the staff, the room and the overall experience. I would highly recommend this property, especially for a road warrior like me.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights & never got the local channels. We were told over & over again that it would be fixed but it never was.
