Had to stay for some followup transplant care at IUH. Would highly recommend this place for 2 important reasons. In six separate overnight stays at Candlewood, each room was very clean and comfortable. But the main reason for my recommendation would be the staff. I've never met such a caring group of people that went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable each and every time I've checked in.

If I am ever in the Indy area again I will definately stay at this hotel. It's not right downtown, but they have a shuttle to bring you there or if you prefer it's a short cab $8-10 away. Well worth it when you consider how much less you are paying for the room.

When I booked the room I was given a price with fees included as I requested and a confirmation number, and I gave my email for receipt confirmation. Weeks later nothing, so I called... They could not find me thru the number then after time they "found" me. The room wasn't correct nor the price and with a sigh and attitude it gets resolved with a higher price. Of course it took a debate to get the correct price. The email was wrong so it to was corrected. We were told on both phone calls there was a FREE shuttle as well as we were told we were downtown. Neither were true. Even after my second confirmation I didn't receive and email so again on the way down we called to confirm.. It was correct and knew nothing of the email... But funny they sent me this email for a review.
The front desk wasn't bad except when we called down for local food recommendations and we were hung up on.. Twice! But the manager was great and very apologetic.
The hotel was nice and worth the price aside if the customer service and false info.

I want to thank all your staff. they were very accommodating before we even arrived. Had two rooms reserved - upgraded on one of them which turned out very nice. Excellent Housekeeping and the shuttle service was great. The rooms were very clean and a nice size. I lost my earrings in the bathroom, I had put them in the drinking glass by the sink. I was about 1.5 hours away when I realized it. My Nephew was still in town there and I call Dwayne at the front desk to see if he could check to see if they were there. Luckily he sent housekeeping which had not been in there yet and they found them for me in the glass right were I had left them. My Nephew then went back and retrieved them. Thanks Again to all the Staff you were great! Nice group of people including your shuttle driver.

I had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I had a nice view and enjoyed the free parking. All the staff members were nice and helpful.

Besides the front desk being cordial and helpful, the driver of the shuttle service was very thoughtful and accommodating.

I was very surprised when I was upgraded too a 2 bedroom suite. My daughter had her own king size bed-room. The only thing wrong was a small roach on the counter in the kitchen. The furniture in the living room was old . needs updating.But I will still stay in this Hotel the next time I visit Indianapolis.
