The room was quite comfortable for two people. Had everything we needed. The hotel was kind enough to reduce the rate and reserve a block of rooms for the family due to the circumstances, but I would have been satisfied if I had paid the regular rate.

This hotel was near a small strip mall and a few places to eat. It was clean and the rooms were nice sized. The customer service was terrific.

From Check-in to Check-out just what you expect a hotel to be. This is not a 5 Star Hotel, but certainly well worth the money for your overnight or extended stay in the area. I have stayed at this hotel about 5 times over the last year and always have had a great experience.

This was the second time I stayed at Candlewood suites on Merrill Road. My daughter attends Jacksonville University, so it is close to the school and provides that home away from home environment when I am trying to move her in and out every year.

I enjoyed my stay and look forward to visiting again. The location was great . I enjoyed the patio. It was just what we needed for night gathering for the family.

I stayed for one night at this hotel. I made the grave mistake of taking off my diamond wedding ring and placing it on the end table between the beds. When we left the next morning I did not pick up my ring from the night stand. When I called to get my ring back, I must say the woman I spoke with did not sound at all concerned. The only information she wanted was where I left it. After several minutes, within 30, she calls me back and tells me head of house keeping did not have a ring turned in. Well, my concern with this hotel is the trustworthiness of the people they hire and the lack of concern for the personal and sentimental valuables their guest accidentally leave. Then hold out hope that someone will be honest enough to turn it in to be claimed. And the fact that she did not offer to do more to investigate what happened to my ring. There are no words to describe the pain I am feeling. I sincerely hope that this hotel reevaluates the employees that they have hired!
