    I have been an IHG member for years and this was by far the worst hotel!! There is no area to walk dogs, the rooms are outdated, the cots look like they were pulled from the dumpster and the front counter staff couldn't be any ruder! I called to verify the pet fee because the website says a different price than what is told when you call and when you check in. I received 2 different prices and had an even higher amount stamped on my check in sheet to initial. The girl checking me in had an attitude because I wouldn't initial the sheet confirming the higher pet fee. After she rolled her eyes and scratched through it, I could tell tell she wasn't going to be very nice. I asked for a first floor since I have 2 dogs and was told they didn't have any first floor rooms available but dogs were allowed on any floor. We put our stuff in the room and I asked for a cot. The same girl rolled her eyes and let me know how difficult that was going to be because she had to track down sheets and blankets. We told her we needed it and she could leave it outside the door once she was able to track the stuff down. It sure didn't take long because while we walked the dogs real quick, the bed was left outside the door but she entered our room without permission with my purse and cell phone in there and placed the sheets/blanket in a pile on the bed then proceeded to leave the door cracked open for anyone to enter! The next morning I go to the front desk and ask the new girl if there would be a room on the first floor available that day. After I tell her the reason for the switch, she tries to tell me dogs aren't allowed on the first floor, yet girl number one told me less than 24 prior that dogs were allowed on any floor! She finally agrees with an attitude to switch us and by some miracle there was a room ready on the FIRST floor at 8am when the cleaning crew hadn't even started cleaning rooms yet.. So how was it they didn't have anything the night before but by some miracle one became ready overnight! The other Candlewood Suites is much much nicer with all updated rooms, a nice dog walk area, actual clean twin size mattress cots, grill, gazebo, etc. This rundown hotel needs new staff and a new makeover!!
