    We were in Jacksonville waiting to get into our new home. After a less than positive stay at another extended stay hotel, we moved to Candlewood suites. We were so happy with the move. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful..especially Elena at the front desk. She went out of her way for all the guests. Even our dog felt welcomed. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Jacksonville area.

    Great customer service, very helpful and nice staff. Facilities need a little work (treadmill and washer broken, doors to rooms slam very loudly....need pneumatic door closers installed)

    Small bed and Barking Dog

    I stayed at the hotel and 2 big things.
    1. They only have what they call "queen Size Beds" The beds are very small and not much room for 2 adults to share for a week long stay. Recommend an upgrade for at least some of the rooms.
    2. I am a dog lover and I have a dog that is very much a part of our family. He is trained to bark only during emergencys and it house trained. During my stay at this hotel there was somebodys little dog that barked all day long. When I contacted the front desk about it they said I could move rooms. "I am sorry NO, its not my problem with a barking dog and I had already been there for 2 days." The problem was the owners left the dog in their room and it barked and barked.

    Made a last minute booking for Memorial Day Weekend, only queen studio suites available. Room and kitchenette were plenty big enough. Staff were all very nice and professional. We were made to feel genuinely welcome, would definitely stay here again.
