We just needed a place to stay while driving home from a long trip and it was hard to find a room anywhere because of something going on in the area. This happened to be the only room available and it was a smoking room. The smell was terrible! I don't understand why a hotel would have smoking rooms anymore. Maybe I just have been spoiled because the state I'm from doesn't allow smoking in public places.

I am sorry that due to the condition of the local Holiday Inn in Joplin that I assumed that your hotel was in as poor condition as they were. After staying at hotels near yours I finally decided to give you a try, glad we did, it was a great experience and will be back.

On our way back to Texas from a trip to see family in Iowa, my wife and I chose to stay at this location because of it's pet friendly accomodations. In a nutshell, we got an exceptionally nice room in a convenient part of town just off the interstate topped off with a great rate. Thanks!

I have been staying through the week for almost a month now due to relocating for a new job. Your property is top notch, your staff is very friendly and eager to help in any way. I find your rooms to be extremely clean and well kept. The evening desk clerk, Tara, is exceptional with her customer service. I have completely felt at home while away from home and would recommend your property to others and will use it again if the need arises for both company use and personal use. Great Job Candlewood of Joplin!!!!

Every employee always greeted us with a warm smile.
When we registered (I like to tease people) the gal at the desk gave it right back at me...! LOVED IT...!!!
We had a minor problem, and the lady maintenance person was prompt and took care of it with a smile..!! :o)
My reason for staying at your motel was that I have stayed there a few years ago and was willing to receive the same courteous treatment.

The only time I have ever had a bad time at a Candlewood was due to a bad neighbor. I really like them and the set up.

Stayed two weeks, got home found out Candlewood Suites billed me twice for four days, been calling with no return calls.
Also made reservation on line, day of check out my room rate went up after four days asked why and the girl told me because you did your reservation on line we have no control of that - in which is a lie found out later I could get that changed back but still waiting on refund, bad, bad, bad.
Be carefull here.

The entire staff was extremely friendly and ready to accomodate any and every need that we had. They were also very flexible and understanding of our uncertain schedule and worked with me throughout our entire stay. I would recommend this location to any and all travelers, no matter what their need. And the price of the rooms was very reasonable. Thank you to all of you.

The pantry was awesome. It allowed my granddaughter to grab snacks when she was hungry without going out of the hotel and at a reasonable cost.
The rooms were spacious and well organized.
Overall a super place to stay.

very accessible and comfortable...bed seemed a little small for 2 adults...?full vs. queen as requested, but overall, experience very good.
Pantry selection was excellent , free soda or water was appreciated.

We arrived late and were tired. The bed was very uncomfortable. The next day when we checked out, the rate was wrong and the desk clerk refused to give us the rate quoted on the Internet. Will not stay here again.
