After MONTHS of requesting that my bill be ready at the time I check out, this is still a challenge for the staff at Candlewood. Yesterday 5/10/13 when I checked out, I waited nearly 20 minutes for the desk clerk to print my bill...she eventually found that someone had placed a pack of cookies INSIDE the printing tray which blocked the printer. This can only have been placed there by one of your staff.
My needs are very simple: when I leave I want my bill....without delay or fuss or argument...that's it! I don't want to have to wait whilst being told "...the printer's down..." or "...the system's down...". My checkout time is known to the staff as is my desire not to stand around waiting for the one person behind the desk to answer questions from other guests or check others in or combat the printer/system....they have at least 8 hours to pre-print a bill that should only take 30 seconds...why not pre-print it and have it on hand for me in the morning....? I have requested this MANY times and your staff STILL don't get it!!!!!

We were upgraded to a suite. The room was really nice! The bed was very comfortable. I just wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was friendly and nice.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room. Convenient location. Good price. Extended my stay one day with ease. Will definitely stay there again.

I don't think managment has a good handle on maintenance because there is always something loose or broken in the rooms.
Trash piled up in hall ways and out side at the patio.
Never, never have enough USA news papers left over when I leave for my appointments - 7:30 or 8AM
No fast check out or paper delivery to the room.
No fast cleaning service - one day (dry / laundry) never have any delivery slips with laundry bags.

This hotel is newer and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and it was so very convenient having a full kitchen. The laundry room is free and they even have dvd player and free dvd's. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and smiling. Good stay.

I paid for my room online with Candlewood Suites. While I was confirmed for a one bedroom suite, the hotel received confirmation for a studio suite. The hotel was sold out and could not give me what I paid for. The person at the desk had poor customer service skills and told me I could not get a refund if I cancelled. I asked to speak with her superior and had a total different encounter with the general manager. She apologized for the error and gave me the option to cancel with a refund or reduce the rate for the room. Her customer service skills were impeccable. She made ever effort to accommodate us. We stayed and the room was fine.
