Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smokey Rooms I used my rewards points to stay 2 nights at this property...do I ever regret it. They only had smoking rooms available and I thought it wouldn't be too bad...was I wrong. The room reeked of smoke to the point that I had to open the window (which didn't help) and use 3/4 of a bottle of fabreeze. After the fabreeze held of the smell of smoke I could smell pet urine in the room. Don't ever go to this property unless smoke and pet urine are your thing. June 6, 2013

The agent promptly looked up my reservation.The explained the amenities of the hotel. I was impressed with the comfort look of the lobby and the Candlewood Suites kitchen cub-board.I was told about renting movies from the front desk.I was impressed about the movies,it was the first hotel I experienced that.I was told by the agent about the neighboring sister hotel,so if I needed a pool the sister hotel I could use theirs.I was impressed with the gym,&free laundry mat. The hotel offered luggage rack/had an elevator excellent.The suite was awesome. The TV faced the beds and I could watch from the bathroom.The suite had all the amenities I needed,plates,cups,coffee machine,sink,refrig,mini stove,I was impressed with the dishwasher,that's a plus..I didn't have2do dishes.I had a double-bed suite.The down stairs-agent was Excellent!! help when I needed assistance with a room fix.The hotel offered umbrella when it was raining/ quiet room..I'am totally impressed. The hotel manager was very helpful and informatiive as well as the rest of the staff. Also, the shuttle service provided was great esp since I had not transportation for four nights. I would highly recommend this location for anyone traveling/staying in the Killeen, TX area. January 8, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extended stay As far as the extended stay I really like the fact I had a kitchenette to cook my own food. The furniture is a little out dated (I.E. the recliners) but not uncomfortable by any means. The staff is second to none. The Manager, Dorene, is SUPER helpful with getting things resolved in a very timely matter. I didn't have any major issues I just couldn't find NBC on the TV (it wasn't listed as NBC) and she called the cable company and found out what channel it was for me because it wasn't listed as NBC lol. They really make you feel at home and the longer you stay the better it gets. I miss them a little bit. :-) November 15, 2012

Immediately when I came to the Killeen Candlewood Suites I was greated with professionalism and coutesy. I was also made to feel at home! I have been here for 2 months now and will be here another month before going home, but now I am not dreading the final days. The room is clean. The staff is efficient and accomodating. The management staff is hands-on and personable yet highly proffessional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs to come to the Fort Hood area. October 19, 2012

Dorene, Yamil, Natasha, Ethan, Leonard, Matthew, Daniella and Lucia are some of the friendliest folks you will ever meet. They also have a shuttle bus that can take you to places within 6-/+ miles of the hotel. The kitchenettes are nice too. October 4, 2012
