The fitness room had every machine working: a rarity in hotels. The hotel was also conveniently located to restaurants and a grocery store. . . . I was originally going to stay only two nights. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by When in Wisconsin... The town of LaCrosse is not that large. I was here on business. It met my needs for the trip. I did request a King size bed but was put in a room of two double beds. The room did have a musty odor but nothing unbearable. The internet when working, was fast. The biggest headache was trying to log on. My device is brand new and automatically connects to wifi when available. Entering a passcode was the only option on the computer when really, you needed to go to a web address, and enter a room number and passcode. I was disappointed with the towels in the bathroom... nothing like white towels coming out of the shower and opening them to find stains. Creeped me out a little. Luckily it was just me in the room with plenty of towels and wash cloths to keep selecting from until a clean one was selected. But the positives are: the staff was extremely nice, friendly, and professional. There was ample parking close to the front door. The elevator never took long to arrive and the building was very quiet at all hours. It would be nice if they served a continental breakfast vs just free coffee. November 19, 2014
