    Manager Needs to Open Their Eyes

    Upon check in at around 1:30 PM, when approaching my room on the third floor, I noticed the carpeted hallway needed vacumming desperately. There was a lot of debris and lint on the carpet. I thought, oh well maybe they haven't vacuumed yet today. Well, I was wrong. They never vacummed in the entire 48 hours that I was there.

    I noticed candy wrappers on the floor in the hallway by the elevator that stayed there for the entire time I was there.

    The artificial plant in the hallway appeared shabby and dusty.

    Generally, I got the impression that management/housekeeping obviously aren't concerned with the appearance or impression that this sort of thing makes on your customers.

    Also, upon checkin, the front desk attendant could not find my IHG club number, asked if I had a card, and seemed to imply that since he couldn't find it and I didn't have a card, that I would not receive credit for my stay.

    I asked him to look it up, then another person with more experience came to his assistance and easily found the number.
