The staff was as nice and helpful as any place I have stayed. The room is good sized and the tv is great, lots of channels. The room and bath were both clean. Beds are all queen size. But not bad. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking room and weekend rates I travel up and down I-75 a few times each year and always stay at Candlewood Suites. I find the rooms very well appointed and clean. That said, this location is the only one I have stayed at where the smoking rooms absolutely reek, every time; perhaps the staff could check with other locations to find out what they do to freshen theirs. This location is also the only one that never seems to have reasonable weekend rates in line with the rest; the rate is usually nearly double what is charged by the Candlewood Suite that I stay at the night before or after this one (also on the weekend). I am always told that this is due to some event or another and that "corporate" will not allow a lower rate despite the obvious vacancy. June 15, 2014
