The suite included a small kitchen area, living area with sofa and chairs and separate bedroom with king bed. The entire suite and bathroom was extremely clean. Large flat screen HDTV's in living and bedroom. Sofa was not the most comfortable but the bed was great. Friendly and helpful staff and a well stocked snack room in the lobby. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! September 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice, clean hotel, just a couple of issues The hotel is nice and very clean. The staff was excellent. Only a couple dings I can give it. First is the toilet was mounted super close to the vanity so you have to sit "side saddle" to use it. The other is the movies in the loaner library appear to have come from a garage sale or goodwill. Mostly, all B movies, or movies hardly anyone has ever heard of. The hotel is new, and I am sure that will improve in time. Plus, you go to a hotel to sleep and shower primarily anyhow. Beds were comfortable. Grounds were clean and the hotel was near downtown about 5 minutes, without the downtown price. If I was in the area I would stay there again. August 5, 2014

The bed was exceptionally comfortable but in a bedroom the size of the one we were in it would have been more comfortable if it had been King Size instead of Queen...there was plenty of room for a King. The staff was as nice and helpful as any place I have stayed. The room is good sized and the tv is great, lots of channels. The room and bath were both clean. Beds are all queen size. But not bad. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Smoking room and weekend rates I travel up and down I-75 a few times each year and always stay at Candlewood Suites. I find the rooms very well appointed and clean. That said, this location is the only one I have stayed at where the smoking rooms absolutely reek, every time; perhaps the staff could check with other locations to find out what they do to freshen theirs. This location is also the only one that never seems to have reasonable weekend rates in line with the rest; the rate is usually nearly double what is charged by the Candlewood Suite that I stay at the night before or after this one (also on the weekend). I am always told that this is due to some event or another and that "corporate" will not allow a lower rate despite the obvious vacancy. June 15, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable beds. Upon arrival we were recognized as platinum members, room was ready and staff was great. We checked into our room and had to leave for a picnic and concert later. When we returned to our room it seem like some one had been smoking. I called the front desk and told them it seem to be smoky in the hallway and now smoke was in my room. I was in room 313. The front desk clerk informed me that they had rooms on the 3rd floor that were smoking rooms. Rooms 300 - 310 were smoking rooms. She said that we could move to the second floor because it was a non smoking floor. My family will be staying at hotels that are non smoking hotel in the near future. We really like the hotel, but the smoke was sickening. June 4, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice ammenities Nice location, super friendly staff. I stayed here due to my booking error (I got dates wrong and my regular hotel was full). I was able to book online and arrive within 30 minutes. Front desk was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. I loved that there is free use of washers/dryers, and there is an icemaker in the fridge in each room. The only negative was outside noise. My room faced New Circle Road, which is very busy. The road noise was above average in my opinion. Would not hesitate to stay in this chain again. June 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and very quiet The room was very well stocked in the kitchenette area. We stayed two nights and the bathroom had 3 bath towels. If we wanted another towel we had to bring a dirty towel down to the front desk in order to receive another towel. There was no maid service to come in and empty trash, make the bed, refill towels, etc. unless you request their service. The sign on the inside of the door indicated where trash should be dumped down the hall. I have never stayed in a hotel that was run like this one was. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, we received items from the front desk we requested so overall our stay was fine. It wasn't the end of the world that we didn't receive the usual hotel service but it was a surprise. This might be exactly what some people would prefer. I might recommend this place but would tell people to expect a little different experience. April 13, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Free night perk Although this room was free because of our IHG rewards, I found the rooms were nice, but smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The halls smelled worse, but as we entered the room my granddaughter and I smelled it in there. I am a non smoker who grew up with parents who were both smokers. My granddaughter has allergies and I have chronic sinus problems. This hotel is clean, but needs to have the carpeted the walls updated. Smoke smell stays on the walls and the carpet forever!
