We left key cards in the room and needed help with reservations and final costs. The staff was wonderful. Only drawback was that there was no pool. Need a pool! June 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home Away From Home We have never stayed at Candlewood Suites before, but booked a week there while visiting relatives because of the AAA rating. This was so much more than we expected. We ended up staying an extra night and there was no problem. I was able to wash all our laundry after two weeks on the road and didn't have to pay for the machines. Laundry detergent was provided for a reasonable cost and I didn't have to come up with a pocketful of quarters. The room was roomy and comfortable, the kitchen stocked with everything we needed, and the noise level incredibly low. It was as if we were alone on our floor. Housekeeping checked with us frequently and took care of every need. And we were amazed at the number of television channels. We definitely will stay at Candlewood Suites again. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff/Clean Hotel Upon arriving the staff was very friendly and greeted me with a smile. Check-in was a breeze and the front desk person even gave me some suggestions for good local restaurants when I told her I was hungry after being on the road for so long. The room was bigger than I'd expected and was very clean. I enjoyed the large desk that was provided too as it allowed me to spread out my work without being cluttered. The bed was comfortable and I was able to sleep soundly throughout the night. June 17, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff. Quality and value is quesionable Evening Staff was warm and freindly. Morning staff was non existent until after 7:30am. Room had poor maintenance issues. The cupboard concept while unique is not very helpful for my purposes. Prepared meals would suit me much better. June 14, 2014

The amenities are all very average, and do not match the price, which was the highest I paid in any city on a recent 2 week trip from New Mexico to Michigan in fact. In fact, after my stay with you, I switched entirely to a different hotel company, so annoyed I was with your inn. And, the staff needs some training. They were NEVER around. And they were dismissive both at check in, during my stay, and upon check out. I felt I had no value to your inn. May 13, 2014

If i wasn't using points i would have left. broken toilet toilet off of it's mount. part time staff 7 am to 10 pm self check in? never heard of this prior staff dressed in t-shirt as the front desk clerk. room cleaning 3 days a week, nothing on weekends. No breakfast and no close food establishments not up to the usual Holiday Inn Express standards. Overall not impressed!!! January 2, 2013

I am disappointed that you did not give me my priority club points. When I checked in and gave you my card I was told I would get my points.
