The view is nice and private with an amazingly friendly staff. Just off the highway but feels secluded by the use of vegetation. While a complementary breakfast would been nice, and the construction was noticeable, the placement of the hotel and the staff's positive attitude more than made up for the rest.

The room was breathe taking. Loved the high king size bed. Comfortable. Slept well. Location of hotel was close to restaurants, shopping center, movie theater, and the zoo.

This hotel was full for the Memorial Day Holiday. My stay was for 3 nights. The concierge desk staff was excellent in dealing with all individual concerns. I ate in the hotel restaurant for 3 nights with excellent food and service. Came down each morning at 6:00 AM for coffee in the lobby and use of the computers/printer-excellent coffee and internet service (others were there also using same services). The staff in the hotel was very accommodating-5 star reference!

This Holiday Inn is one step above a dump. The rooms are very dated and in need of an upgrade. Rooms do not have enough outlets to charge electronics or power a CPAP. My room was missing a table lamp for the desk and the desk chair had a broken back and leg. The staff was very apologetic and and offer to fix the issue. Maintenance replaced the lamp and delivered another chair...also with a broken leg. I'm not kidding. The bathroom vanity had large crack across it. I guess I may have gotten the party room. The fitness room has 3 treadmills, all broken. Just as they were when I stayed there three weeks earlier. This is not what I expect from a Holiday Inn and will not be staying here in the future.

I never had such a bad stay at any Holiday INN since I joined the priority Club in 1985.
The rooms I was promised were wrong, I was promised connecting rooms. It took over 1 hour to get breakfast served to us.
the staff did not really care, what you get is what you get.. And much worse.

I was trying to plan a very special birthday party for my wife at the hotels lounge. I even went so far as to drive to the hotel and speak with one of the bartenders (Ryan) who was very nice and helpful, directing me to the sales staff. I attempted to contact the hotels sales staff and advise them this party would have approx. 30+ guests so they could staff the lounge accordingly, but I never received a return call. I finally reached one of the sales staff two days prior to the even and passed on the guest numbers and my hope that they would staff for the event, she assured me they would.
The day of the party we checked into our suite for our reservation and I asked to speak to the manager. I was told that he would be in the next morning and I could speak to him then.
The room was not as nice as many of the other Holiday Inn rooms I have stayed in. It was small, slightly dated, the floor lamps were wobbly and the shades were dirty. The bathroom sink facet was not working correctly and you had to be careful to move it into a position so the water would shutoff.
At about 6:45pm my wife and I went down to the lounge and sadly discovered only one bartender. As the party guests started to arrive it quickly became obvious that the bartender was not going to be able to keep up. By 8PM we had guests leaving because they stood at the bar for 15-30 minutes waiting for a drink. This was VERY upsetting to my wife, and not even close to the level of service I have come to expect from Holiday Inn.
The next morning (04/06/2014) I went to the from deck and asked to speak to the manager since I was told he would be in. Much to my increasing disappointment I was told the manager was not in, that he had a previous engagement. I insisted that the manager contact me regarding this horrible stay, leaving my phone number, which has now been 17 days ago and still no call from the manager.
This experience ranks in the top two worst hotel stays I have ever had, and was very upsetting to my wife and basically ruined a very special birthday party evening.

The driveway to this location is VERY close to the northbound I-95 exit ramp, and requires IMMEDIATE access to the left-turn turning lane. We missed it .. and had an entertaining few minutes cutting through parking lots trying to re-locate the hotel driveway.. We are long time Priority Club members, and always make reservations in advance. This time we found more 'no vacancies' than usual, and finally settled on the Staysbridge Suites in Melbourne. We checked with them the morning of arrival, and were told that we had been relocated to the Holiday Inn Conference Center. That was when we discovered that it was the night before the Daytona 500 ! DUH!! We felt lucky to get any room -- but it turned out to be a fine location with friendly desk staff, comfortable bed, excellent shower and a truly restful night.. The rate charged was somewhat more than we planned to pay -- BUT, was fair for value received... We may even stay here 'on purpose' on our next Florida trip..

After staying on two different Holiday Inn's in the past two days on our travels, this last one was a great disappointment. There was no bill on the last day, no newspaper either at your door or in the lobby, the room was so dark even with all 4 lights on you could barely read anything, the television only got about 10 channels, almost every piece of furniture in the room was damaged or dirty, the walls all had water damage on them (on the 5th floor). Just was not the type of experience I would expect.

We were overall happy with our accomodations. We had higher hopes in a suite with a door between the sofa and King. The sofa bed mattress was uncormfortable and needed to be replaced. We had to ask for the Room to be cleaned each day, not sure why. Breakfast in the restaurant provided slow service with mediocre food. Probably not worthwhile,since there are area restaurants within walking distance. We did like the distance from the college Spring Break kids' motels,, and the drive to nearby beaches was closeby. Front desk staff helped us with some activities and places of interest in the area.

The lobby of the hotel is new and inviting but the rest of the hotel is old and run down. The carpets, furniture and wall coverings are old and greasy. This hotel needs a renovation. When I checked into the hotel I asked the front desk attendant about my free breakfast that was included in my rate and she said that they didn't have a rate that included breakfast. I had to show her my reservation email. The cleaning staff did not clean my room until after five PM everyday. This property is in a good location but that's the only good thing about this Holiday Inn.

I spent one night here in early March as part of a race event, The Inaugural Excalibur 10 miler. The hotel was ideally located close to the race site and to a nice outdoor shopping mall. I asked for a late check out because of the race the next morning, but I was told they could not grant any more because they had already granted too many requests. I ended up staying longer than 11:00 because of the post-race activities, but the hotel staff did not give me any grief over it at all. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay there again for this race event next year.

Ordered breakfast on our departure date, we all had the pancakes.
My daughter found hair in her food, ruined the meal for all of us. I was pressed on time so I shared my experience in passing with the manager on duty.
Very disappointing to me as a platinum level member.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property could use a refurbishment however. Furniture and decor was dated, and lampshades were is rough shape. Pillows were older, small, and not very comfortable. Overall the stay was pretty average. I did appreciate the kind folks at the front desk, thanks.

I am a priority club member and stay at Holiday Inn Express almost all the time while traveling......Most are very affordable and are relatively nice for the price......this one is not.....needs a remodel or at least a good cleaning.....air conditioner/heater very loud.....the common area downstairs was dirty as well......when a place is not clean....you really find it hard to get comfortable......I spent all my time thinking....How clean is this bed and sheets.....

I don't know what kind of matrices that they have at this Holiday Inn but I have never slept this good in my life. The resonant was also amazing with food and service, Ryan was very helpful and felt like talking to a friend. I would recommend this place to anyone and will be going back.

This room came with no microwave or refrigerator. There was a convention or large family gathering, and it seems that most of that occured right outside our room. We have stayed at Several Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses, and this was the worst one ever. We would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

We booked our stay at the last minute and was given 'the last room available' at checkin. We were told that this room was a suite. However, when we opened the door a strong smell of cleaning products hit us like a brick. The smell was so bad that we had to open the window to let fresh air in, which only helped slightly. The A/C unit had only 1 speed, very slow. The microwave was sitting ontop of the fridge, next to the TV which was atop a night stand; no dresser in the room. Of course, since this was the 'last room' and no other hotels around had availability, we stayed. However, we will NEVER stay at this property again. This room should NOT have been made 'available'.

When I Arrived the hotel look good from the out side but when you go into the hotel you can tell the paint looks caked on the walls, the room smells like an old musty towel. When I ask the staff for new towels because the one's in the room looked well used. The staff was not very helpful, as a platinum member I was given a bag of cookies and told to have a good stay. I ask for a late check out and was told no that there fully booked for the next day and that I needed to be out by 11:30.
I stay with this chain all over the U.S. and I would not recommend this hotel for other platunum members.
