Lilia was very friendly and helpful with our accommodations as well as being able to inform us of places to eat and visit. If we are ever in the area again I would absolutely stay here again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Visit The chair in the room had all the fake leather worn off and looked horrible. When I call the desk for a better chair I was told they were on order?? The freezer stunk of rotten onions. I had to call three times and nothing was done. The ice was useless as it picked up the smell. By the time someone on day three was "supposed" replace the unit the smell was not as bad so we just let it go. The coffee machine was broken. My screen had a hole it it so I could not open the window as bugs would come in the unit. The tub plug did not work so my wife could not get a bath. How was my visit?? You make the call!!! I was concerned because the hallway seemed to be a little dirty, but when i got to my room it was clean and very comfortable. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AC I have stayed at this property for several months. Last week the AC was not functioning when I checked in. Fortunately the weather was cool and it wasn't an issue. I spoke to the attendant Tuesday morning and assumed it would be corrected. It wasn't. The evening manager, Edwin, attempted to restart the unit without success. Wednesday morning I spoke to the attendant again. He confirmed that maintenance had been informed and reported the unit as operating. There's the problem - it is not uncommon for an AC unit to run for a few minutes then trip. No one confirmed it was running once it restarted. On Wednesday I called and left a message for the general manager, either have the unit running when I return Wednesday afternoon. I asked that Michael return my call and confirm the AC was running. No return call. That evening it wasn't running. The evening manager attempted to get the unit running as I had on Monday and Edwin not on Tuesday nights. He couldn't. He offered me a few complementary points and to comp. Wednesday evening. I appreciated the offer but it did not substitute for a good night sleep. August 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service, warm atmosphere, just like home Staff at Candlewood Suites are outstanding and extremely helpful. The facility is clean and very well maintained and I obtained more value for my money. The only issue I had was with the electrical problems they experienced which I was told was as a result of a thunder storm. There needs to be excellent backup power sources on hand to prevent loss of power in the facility. Additionally, because it is a pet friendly hotel, the rooms need to be properly treated for fleas, as I was bitten up by fleas in my room. August 9, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, quiet, convenient, good value This hotel was in the middle between the most and least expensive accommodations near the NJ Turnpike and I 295. Clean, comfortable, updated room with great kitchen amenities for a hotel/motel. Be aware that the ice maker in the freezer can be turned off if you want to cut the noise at night. There's no breakfast, I assume because of the kitchens in the rooms. It's a little hard to find -- you can't see it from Rt. 73. It's behind the Atrium building complex off Atrium (road, street?). There's a light at the intersection on Rt. 73. August 6, 2014

Only negative I would comment on was the maintenance supplies that were usually stacked in the hallway by the hotel laundry room which happened to be right next to our room. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel for value This was our second time staying at this hotel. Check-in improved over last visit. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We did check in one room and the furniture was tattered (ripped sofa, headboard chipped) and the carpet needed to be vacuumed, when we asked for another room, they were able to move us and the room was very clean and comfortable.
